Four of us went to the Clover Leaf last Saturday. We had heard that their pizzas were the best in town. But unfortunately, wed had better frozen pizza from the grocery store. I ordered a Rueben sandwich. (which is my favorite), but what I received was almost burned. Inside there was so little sauerkraut that I almost couldnt find it. The hostess said that she could see a few pieces. When I asked for more saurkraut, she brought me about a teaspoon in a tiny cup, and charged me 75 cents for it! Need I mention, that out of the four of us, none of us are planning to return, much less recommend..

we came to this restaurant with two hours left before having to leave Washington and go home, thinking that was plenty of time to eat, and get to spend our last hours with our loved one in the army before he leaves for India. We were seated, ordered our food, and were greated by screaming children and poor service. We were given plastic cups, despite our neighbors having fine glass, and waited an hour and a half for cold sandwiches. If you go to this place, have two hours free, and do not waste the time if it is the very last hours with your soldier.

One of the worst pizza Ive had since moving to Tacoma two years ago. We ordered a large (huge) pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni. The pizza crust was dry and rubbery. The cheese was minimal at best with a cheddar blend to it, which came off extremely undesirable, and the sauce about as generic as they come. I would really love to know how it was ever was or has been noted by Google Maps as being one of the tastiest pizzas in Tacoma. Truly one of the worst pies Ive had in a very long time.

Went here at about 4pm on a Saturday. Obviously we expected it to be pretty empty at this time, but we at least hoped for some service! Since there is no hostess, we sat ourselves. As the only customers in the entire place, we sat for about 20 minutes. We heard people in the kitchen and walked up to the counter to try to get attention with no luck. After waiting forever, we just left. Nobody was even checking the dining area for guests!

This place is an institution here in Tacoma. Some of the best pizza you will ever eat. Thin crust & hand tossed. The recipe has been around since the early 1950s. They still use the same pans to cook them on. Some say that is why their pies taste different than any other. All I know is they are worth the cost. They are not the least expensive, but they are the best.

Pizza is great. Some of the best in town for sure. The bar is awesome. The clover shaped bar make it easier for groups of 3 or 4 to talk comfortably. Good beer selection. More then just domestics. They always have the game on if thats what your into. Top notch bar food. A Tacoma staple.

Donna was so friendly and accommodating for our first time here! She told us it takes a little extra time for pizza which was fine by us!! Once the pizza came it was wonderful! The crust is definately the best part. The food plus the service equals a clear 5 stars in my eyes!

Best pizza in Tacoma...Im from the East Coast and I know my pizza! Lol. It takes a while, but they are hand loving on your pie to make it tasty. Have another beer and be patient, its worth it. Separate Family friendly area with video games included.

My husband and I had an order to go; pizza, a salad and a sandwich. Inside my salad, little melted cheese toasty. Delicious. With the sandwich, ample fries with ketchup and a pickle. Classy. The food was good and the little touches are nice.

WINGS be advised the wings here are soggy, they dont have crispy wings. the mouth feel is kinda slimy. and the sauce doesnt stay on them. if you go and think "man wings kinda sound good" dont order them, stick to the pizza its great.

Called asking if they had Pinball and Zeke went to the backroom to see what pinball machine they had. Most bars have blown me off on the phone when i asked what machine they had. (Ive been calling around all day). Thanks again Zeke.

Always love cloverleaf. I cant really believe its been 4 months since ive been in. Parking sucks and there is a good reason for that. Its good pizza. I havent had too much other than pizza from there.

The Bacon cheeseburger pizza is AWESOME! It is definitely a must try if you have never had it. I was a Nerd lover, now I cant walk in there without a cheeseburger pizza, even if ir is togo.

This place has the most amazing pizza... I love it. That alone gives it four stars. I only took off a star because the atmosphere inside was just ok. At times it got loud and rowdy.

This is a greasy pizza but damn its good. Wait staff is often sub-par when dining in but they get my take-out orders right 100% of the time. Best tasting pizza Ive ever had.

Great pizza. The family area opens at 5pm, somewhat inconvenient for us on this day but we made it work. Friendly servier, but it takes a while to get your pie.
