BEWARE – CREDIT CARD FRAUD/FORGERY/THEFT I was at the bar on a Saturday night to help a friend celebrate her birthday. There were a group of us and most of our orders were put on 1 bill. When it came time to pay, some of us paid by card and others by cash. I paid for my portion by card. My order total was $18 and I had the server charge $24 on my card to include tax and tip. When I signed my receipt, I wrote “included” on the tip line and $24 for the total. So imagine my surprise when I checked my credit card statement on Thursday night and saw that I was charged $29 that night. The server changed my 4 to a 9 to give himself an additional tip. I called the restaurant on Friday night to try to speak to the manager but he was working the bar since their bartender was out. I left a message explaining the situation and asked for him to call me back. However, I didn’t hear back from him. I guess it wasn’t important. So, if you go to Honor bar (a complete joke in the naming), make sure to check your credit card statement afterward especially if you get a short, blond, white guy name Tyler as your server. And if someone does alter your credit card slip, don’t bother contacting management since they apparently don’t care.

The cocktails are great, but at pretty standard San Francisco pricing (there are significantly cheaper bars in east bay, and theyre mostly quite good). Service is slow and not very responsive even when its not that crowded, but the vibe of the place is pretty chill - dont come here if youre not looking to relax and talk to folks. The crowd is quite mixed, so any adult age, youre likely to meet people to chat with. Ive only eaten the burgers, and theyre overpriced but are quite good and come out as you order them (a medium well is appropriately medium well instead of most places which you have to order one step more rare than what you want). Also, its open late, which is a really nice feature. Overall, dependable and solid but not my favorite.

Went with a group of six for my girlfriends b-day. Didnt take long to snag a table, really enjoyed the cocktails and ambiance. The drink list is expertly crafted and they keep many local craft brews on tap and available in bottle. Great feature was the barrel of beers they keep on ice and allow you to serve-your-self from. While the booze was impressive the food was the icing that will certainly will keep me coming back. Highly recommend the Gumbo and Bucket OYard birds! Thanks for the wonderful service and great night.

Good place for a cocktail and a snack. Get the "bucket-o-birds" and fries with various dipping sauces to counter any alcoholic assault you are planning. Signature cocktails are OK but most are awfully sweet. Bartenders are competent, so just order something you know you like and youll probably be pleased. Make sure to check your tab when you cash out, Ive had a couple problems there: getting back a card that wasnt mine (lol) and being double charged.

Mediocre place. Food was ok, if youre looking for American comfort food, this place is ideal. Parking lot is small. Self serve style. Dont expect to be seated after walking in. Service is fairly quick, but glasswares were dirty. Tables took a little time to wipe down. Food was ok; overpriced for burgers, $15 and does come with fries. Id come back to give it another try. It would not be a regular go to place for grabbing dinner.

This location seems to have had a turnstile of restaurants and bars. Honor kitchen has held its own for longer than most. And for good reason. Their drinks are a little better than okay (though my impression may have been due to the bartender on shift when I was there), their food is really good, and their location is hard to beat. If you find yourself in the area and are choosing between restaurants give them a shot.

Never disappointed with their food and drinks. Crowd is mixed and the small space amplifies all sound. Can be a wait to find a table or a seat at the bar. Better to come here on down times is your want to check out the place; otherwise, of your into crowds and not bothered by the volume, youll have a good time.

The bone marrow is to die for. The food and cocktails are always good. It had a small parking lot but you can usually always find a spot nearby. Theyre always playing a certain movie on the tv by the bar, Big Lebowski and Willow come to mind. My fave on the menu is the bucket o yard birds.

I went with some friends and split about 4 dishes. The kielbasa was excellent! The rest of the food was average and a little pricey. Mixed drinks were around 11 bucks but very tasty. It is self seating so the later in the night it can be very difficult to get a seat. Staff was great.

Place had a great vibe when I walked in but the service was absolutely less than sub par. I had the fried chicken which was actually really good but no one else at my table liked their food or drinks. Would be hesitant to go back.

Pastrami sandwich, chicken lollipops, and bucket of birds- seriously everything this great on this menu. Its out of the way, not much to do around that location, but its definitely worth it to have dinner and drinks out there.

Classic Emeryville chic Bar. Good eats, with in house smoker, with sports on TV and a pinball machine. Has an ice chest where you serve yourself, an honor bar, where you tell the bartender what you took to put on your tab.

Terrific spot in Emeryville for a well crafted cocktail and some tasty bites. Dont let the pink exterior fool you, this place is not a dive. Duck in, find a table and settle in with a libation for some great conversation!

Food was really amazing. The fresh ground burger cooked to my liking was amazing. Staff was great. Cocktails were very imaginative. New kick it spot for sure. Especially considering the area which is usually really dead.

Good food and drinks, but lacking in atmosphere. They try to blend too many elements together and the result is a goor place for a meal and a drink but it wouldnt be where I spend the evening or take a date.

The bucket of yard birds is awsome and inexpensive for what you get. Love the beer selection. Love atmosphere. Staff super helpful. Accommodated our large group. Fast service but not rushed.

Such a great cocktail list and the food is very good, while having things on the menu you probably cant get anywhere else (lobster leek sausage made in house, and bone marrow brulee)

Thumbs up for their Bucket OYard birds, which comes with their homemade hot sauce. Sausage biscuit was great as well. Good variety of beer selection.

Service poor, food uneven one dish awesome the rest poor quality and way over priced for what you get. House beer was good. Atmosphere was confused.
