I just moved into the neighborhood and I have been here twice now. I already love it. First, the place has a surprisingly big collection of wines. The store doubles up as a general store and has pretty much everything you might need at a moments notice like toilet paper, snacks, beer, even cling wrap, some stationary items etc. They are open until 10 on weekdays and 11 on weekends so makes for a good place to run to if you run out of beer on a weekend. Coming to their food, their sandwiches are absolutely on-point. They are ALWAYS made fresh and you can clearly see the chef taking his/her time to carefully make the sandwich and dont usually hurry through the order. As a result- yes, the orders take a bit of time to be ready but they are never anything less than good. The people who run the place are always very polite and have a warm smile on their faces when you walk in. They have a dining area with a couple of tables where you can spend some time having your meal. Free wi-fi is decent, but not super-fast. Its good enough for most of your basic needs (just dont start streaming youtube or netflix and start complaining about the buffering). Ive had a latte twice here and its more of a hit or miss. Definitely good but the consistency of froth varied hugely both times. I know I will keep coming back to this place again and again as long as I am in this neighborhood. Oh and one of the best things about this place: They play NPR radio station (one of the only places I have been so far that do this) on their speakers.

One of my favorite places to go in the neighborhood! Great sandwiches, an amazing, friendly staff, and they stock all the necessities. I get a sandwich probably once a week and theyve always been awesome and substantial (particular favorites include the combo #1, big rancher, and sounder). The staff here take their time to make sure that you get just what you want and dont just slap together two pieces of bread with a sad sliver meat inbetween. Ive seen them go out of their way time and time again to acommendate customers as best they can which is reason enough to support them. They also have a good sized wine and beer selection (and they do growlers) which of course doesnt hurt!

The best part of my day at work is when I go to Stella deli and market. Their sandwiches are always so tasty. A lot of people at my work complain at how "slow" they are making their sandwiches. I think they are fine as they have yet to mess up on any of my orders, which Id rather have then a fast sandwich that is missing half of what you wanted. The owner and workers are always so nice and cheerful to me. Love a place where they know your name. Also, thank you for adding a punch card for sandwiches. Gotta love customer rewards. Highly recommend!

So much complaining about the wait. The food is great and you do have to wait a couple of minutes because they make their sandwiches from scratch. No more McDonalds after finding this place, you can always call ahead if you are running late or have a short lunch. I recommend the egg and bacon on a cheese bagle...omg.. so good. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Thanks guys!

This quaint, family-owned deli is the best kept secret in the neighborhood. The blackened turkey sandwich (served with Boars Head meat) is the best Ive ever had. You can eat in and wind down while listening to jazz music. To sum it up: The food, atmosphere, and friendly service are all absolutely perfect.

Great staff, good food and a nice little beer selection and even a few taps for growler fills of really nice beer (and a massive wine selection, if youre into that kinda thing). I stop in after work once or twice a week and its always a good experience.

Brought the best pastrami sandwich a couple of weeks ago.I asked him to get me another one tonight.....horrible bread and mustard with strange cheese and 4 0r 5 thin thin slices of pastrami.guess the quality depend s on who makes it. My grandson

Sandwiches were good. Made fresh and individual so takes a bit longer but worth the wait. One person working when we went on a Saturday. With two or three customers it would have been a long wait. Lots of selection for snacks.

I went there to collect my UPS package. Despite the alerts for snow the shop keeper kept the Deli open till my arrival and was very friendly and patient while i was trying to search for my package.

Great little corner deli. They do their sandwiches in panini presses, and the sandwich price is slightly better than most places. Friendly staff, good selection.

Lots of convenience items, wide selection of wines, friendly staff! Great place to grab a sandwich or a drink while relaxing at Myrtle Edwards park.

I stopped here once on my way to Kerry Park to grab a bite and was very happy that I did! My sandwich was delicious, and was pretty big.

Their registers are down, dont say anything to the growing line of customers and just go and slice some cheese. All is well!

Their sandwiches are excellent and the owner and staff are great people. They even have a few beers on tap!

A great store for sandwiches. Vegetarian friendly, and I think they may have a couple vegan options too.
