Sweetness indeed! Anoush is an Armenian name, meaning "sweet disposition" or "sweetness" and it really lives up to its name, offering friendly service and an impressive array of sweets, from Eastern European sodas, ice creams, candies and chocolates, to the many beautiful cakes, pastries, cookies and desserts. But it is the savory fare here that really thrills me. I love the delicious Russian style cabbage rolls (available as a dine-in delicacy or by the pound as a cold take away option), vegetarian Gyros (loaded with Feta on request), the potato Piroshki (heated on request or available cold for take-home), and the vegetarian "French Style Eggplant" from the cold deli case in back (lovely thin slices of grilled eggplant rolled up with a carrot, onion, garlic, dill and sour cream stuffing). Just delicious. Anoush offers a sizable meat case, many baked goods, and lots of hard to find spices, teas and canned and bottled gourmet foods as well. The warmth and friendliness of the staff make it a treat to eat in or shop here. A great selection of Russian, Ukrainian and Eastern European delicacies.

Anoush. I love your gyros so so much. I love a great saucy, messy, packed sandwich and this place delivers that and then some. Ive been here many times and I never get anything else, the gyro is so good. Price is nice as well, $6.50 for gyro and drink. I am always tempted by the deserts in the cabinet, but havent pulled the trigger yet. Lots of other Mediterranean items in the store, as its a grocery, as well. Deli meats, bread, sides, beer, and other goods. I have had some of the sides and they are good...but I dont need anything else if I am getting the gyro. Almost filled up my punch card, will be back any time Im in area.

I was walking around the area waiting for Carr Cadillac a couple doors down and felt led into this cute little family style deli. Its warm and cozy with a hint of underrated/undiscovered essence that makes a place like this special. Immediately I decided on their best advertised meal, the Gyro with feta cheese. Its absolutely fantastic, authentic sauce, healthy pieces of feta - none of that junk you see at Peta Pit and the other run of the mill Gyro shops. The meat was perfectly seasoned and didnt have the processed taste. Best Gyro in Vancouver Washington by far!

The gyros are alright but I took them home (4 miles) and they were cold- not luke warm but cold on a HOT day. Probably better to eat them there. The baklava didnt tasted a couple days old. The greek salad is alright. The people there are nice. But, this is generally a Russian market that has a couple Greek deli items and a couple American items. Id recommend knowing some Russian unless youre not that hungry but just on an adventure.

Best Gyro In Vancouver WA. They are pretty quick with your order as well and the price is around $7.50ish. Also the Gyro is "HUGE". They have some strange imported candies there too. They are yummy. Worth the visit. They have a different Russian dish that is very popular but i can not seem to try it... Because I want the Gyro.

BEST Gyros EVER! I eat all over and even thoroughly eaten at many Portland food cart parks and this place by far has the BEST, most FRESH food. Gyros are HUGE and so good and if you are a fan of Borsche, it is FANTASTIC as well. I crave their food hahaha! IF you have never dined in or tried their food, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! :D

I have been getting Gyro at Anoush for many years here in the Couv but I think I used to go to their sister store in Gresham too. The pelmini are a favorite in our home. I have fun looking around the store. The deli cabinet is pretty awesome too. The hot foods such as sausage and chicken are among my favorites!

Their Greek Gyros is really good. The soup is really good. The tea is really good. The deli is interesting but not a lot of selection. The amount of chocolate to buy is amazing. Great breads and bakery items. A great little place to visit in Vancouver WA.

Delicious gyros that are fresh, cheap ($6 and includes soda), and very filling! Most gyro places dont have the fresh toppings like these did. Highly recommend this place for those who like good gyros. Also have very good, fresh borscht.

Went there yesterday to pick up some food and beer. Pelmeni and Borsch were great, just like back in my home country. Prices are nice, people that work there are nice as well. Definitely would recommend and come back! Спасибо!

Minimum wage went up and they raised prices like 20% The gyros are now $8.00 , come with a small drink. Should consider adding rice or chips. Go back to 5.99 for a gyro and the review will go back to 5 star.

Very clean, hand made and fresh food! I visit here also for shopping of the unique goodies (love their Armenian jams-home made quality). I wish they had another store in Portland!

Best gyros Ive had in Vancouver. Fun to browse while waiting the couple of minutes for your order. Best to pay in cash if you have an order of <$10 due to that stupid card fee.

Great deli with great portion sizes. A wide variety of European and Euroasian groceries. Occasionally, theres a bit of a wait for food, but overall a great place to visit.

I paid 3.99 for the item that is sold for 2.49 by the competitor and I got charged 50 cent more (3.99+0.50=4.49) Do you really think I will step in to your store ever?

Lots of good stuff. Been coming here for years. Always get a gyro. Often grab the odd cheese or sausage as well. Wonderful olives. Have always been treated well.
