I dont understand how people can praise this place as being one of the best burger places in Seattle. Burgers here are absolutely nothing out of the ordinary and very mediocre. The burger patties are relatively small and usually over-done, the opposite of a juicy burger that I search for. Not only is this place overrated, its also overpriced. You will end up spending over ten dollars for a full meal (burger, fries, and drink), which is pretty outrageous to me. Like the food, the service is also mediocre. Sometimes they give you free sauce, sometimes they will charge you 50 or so cents, even if it means charging your credit card again. The first burger I got was the Mariners burger I believe, the one with cream cheese and jalepenos. I was quite disappointed and I have honestly given them too many chances to redeem their burgers. They did recently renovate the place, and it looks good. Sadly, they did not change their food.

Rain City Burgers is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the city and my number one all-time burger joint. Everything is so fresh, so flavorful, perfectly cooked and constructed. This isnt just a slap-it-together mess. Its a work of art. Their standard burgers are absolutely perfect, but their "weird stuff" is off-the-charts amazing! Im a particular fan of the Chicken Masala Burger, which is a chicken breast marinated gods know how long (ITS SO JUICY AND FLAVORFUL YOU GUYS) in some of the spiciest masala Ive ever tasted. Absolute heaven. And the in-house mango lassi could not possibly be more refreshing on a hot day. And did I mention the people? Theyre so friendly and kind. The owners are amazing and they do a great job hiring a staff that reflects their community values. If you havent hit up Rain City yet, you DONT know what youre missing.

Ive been here many times--which says something with so many natural beef burger places in town. The staff is friendly and the prices are great--all burgers under $8 even for double patties. There are "fancy toppings", basic burgers and flexible substitutions. You can substitute REAL chesse (instead of American) for 75 cents. They also have salmon, chicken and veggie burgers. Handmade milk shakes. Salad too--with add ons that note the grams of protein in each. Theyve got tater tots, parmesan/garlic fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries too. A lot of choices for a small place! (Im partial to the Mariners burger with some hand cut fries.) Its small -- so dont expect a cozy, private dining experience. Still, totally worth it. YUM!

First off the burgers are good quality and taste awesome. The reviewers complaining about price are ignorant to the facts of inflation (created by our government and federal reserve not the burger place). The burgers are reasonably prices for the value of todays dollar. I eat here quite often and I think it is one of the best burger joints in the city. I have NEVER had a bad meal here. The owners use quality ingredients (natural beef patties) and care about customer service. They have chicken and salmon and black bean patties as well. Go here and eat, its good and very affordable for the quantity and quality.

Used to be a regular customer but it looks like the customer service is atrocious now. Ordered two burgers and tater tots, but the cashier (Thursday, 1 October 2015, 8pm) got us fries instead of tater tots. I politely asked him if I could get my tater torts, but he refused to, saying that he couldnt do anything since the fries were cooked. Come on, how much are the cost prices of the fries? Feel disappointed with the service we had. Clearly, he made a mistake but he didnt want to rectify it. I hope the boss would read this and fire this guy.

They know their burgers and fries. The perfect fries--crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside? Rainy City makes them. I got the vegetarian black bean burger, and it was pretty good, considering Im not a veggie burger fan. The attention to quality and detail is delicious: buns are stamped on the grill to achieve greasy crispiness, condiments are carefully layered. These burgers arent slapped together. Or if they are, what beautiful slapping. They also have sweet potato fries, tater tots, and yes, beer.

I got an order to go. Ready even I arrived (10 minutes after I called) I had the sonic burger and my partner had the bacon cheese burger and sweet potato frys. I really enjoyed the burger. The "special" bun was great and way better than the regular bun that came with the bacon cheese burger. The jalapeño and cream cheese was delicious . The sweet potato frys were the same as youd expect from most places, could have been a bit more crispy but perhaps thats just my preference. I would recommend this place.

This is kind of your run of the mill take out burger joint. Its better than fast food bit not quite the quality you would get in a restaurant either. The prices are fair but not cheap. Its frequented by people who live in the Neary Roosevelt and Greenlake neighborhoods. Try thr 12th man burger and an order of tater tots (they are better than the fries). They do have a sitting area with about 7 tables if you decide to eat in.

This place has great burgers. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes burgers. The only downside to this it is that it is kind of small can often be hard to find a place to sit. Also when I went the shake machine was broken and I was kind of bummed, for I was really looking forward to a good shake. This could be a one time thing and I got unlucky, or it happens often and my guess is that it is a one time thing.

Rain City is one of my favorite Burger places in Seattle; I think its the best Burger spot. Ive had a almost all the Burgers on their menu, and I havent had a bad one yet. I always get a blackberry shake too. The fries and onion rings are good too. The place is clean, gets busy during school lunch hour-but service is friendly and excellent. Family owned, they are super nice. Good prices, great food, great spot.

We get burgers here weekly and love the service and food; my favorite item is the burger burger, only $5 and it fills me every time. Im not sure why, but they recently chose to go with a different meat supplier and while the cows are fed grain that may have been sprayed with pesticides, it is still antibiotic free; antibiotics are used to fatten cows and may be causing our bodies to gain weight as well.

Go for the salmon burger! I have had the regular cheeseburger, the salmon burger and the mushroom burger. The cheeseburger wasnt necessarily better than most places but the salmon and mushroom burgers were excellent. The rain city sauce adds a lot of flavor and the toasted kaiser bun was excellent. The staff there has always been super nice, even when they are swamped and the place is very clean.
