I really like this place. A $9.95 everyday special of: tofu pad thai, chicken curry, spring roll, and a small cup of tofu soup (while supplies last) really speaks for itself. They have the market cornered there. Very casual, welcoming environment that theyve somehow pulled off in a terrible, down-a-half-flight-of-stairs, low-ceiling space for a restaurant. They have to use a sandwich board and window paint for signage. I feel bad. I dont have AS much to say about this place simply because its good food at a fair price and I get the same thing every time. The tofu pad thai might be premade and waiting in the back, just because when I order 5 star they just sprinkle a bunch of crushed red pepper flakes on top, which means it wasnt made to order. The curry is solid and adds some veggie components that I tend to like: zucchini and carrot. This does seem made to order. The nitpicky portion: - Portion sizes arent huge for the price, but you walk out full. - Fully Americanized with those cheesy, sort of in-your-face classic flavors, but almost all thai restaurants are... - I mentioned the premade bit and I think the spring roll might be reheated in the microwave or something. There were some telltale signs of microwave heating, but thats not the highlight of the dish anyway. - Why curry + rice on the plate?! So much good sauce and flavor lost to a flat surface! I think it should be served in a small bowl, but hey I dont run the place. Well done Little Thai. Well done.

I eat here almost daily, and have never been disappointed by the food. Its always good, and at about $7-$8 for a full meal its not too pricey. It has a "hidden" sort of feel to it with the stairway down to the restaurant. Though it is often busy Ive only once or twice had to wait for a seat. I eat either their Lard Nar or Pad See Eew for breakfast most days, though I have tried several of their other dishes and always enjoyed them. If you go for lunch then you get a free cup of soup which, though they vary between types, is usually one of several varieties that I very much enjoy. If you get there before the soup is ready they give you a small salad with some sort of peanut dressing, which seemed weird to me until I tried it and realized that it was delicious. And their dishes have a lot of vegetables in them, which is good for college students who would otherwise probably not eat enough veggies, not to mention the fact that they cook them well. The only reason that I didnt give this a five is because I have an exceptionally high bar for fives, high enough that Ive yet to find any restaurant deserving of one. The food didnt make me pause to say "wow," just "yum." Nor was the price low enough to be amazing. But the food and service here are top-notch, and you will be doing yourself a favor by stopping by. Ill be the one in the early morning reading in the corner booth : )

I really like the location, its tucked away so its usually not busy. The workers are really nice and I have good service. The food is alright, Im biased because I like any Thai food, but dont order a 5 star and expect authentic spiciness. Im not a fan of their appetizers, they seem pre made or not worth the price. Especially their crab delight, thats a must have every time I go eat Thai anywhere, but here it has a lot of cream cheese and not enough crab. Their main dishes are really good, portions are pretty large.

Little Thai is a hidden gem in U District. Walk down the stairs in the seemingly boring building and youll be hit by the most amazing smells of Thai food ever. They are always very welcoming. I always get phad thai and phad see ew, then share with a friend or two. There is a large assortment of food that you can try out. I love waiting for my food since there is so much to look at in the restaurant, including a large fish tank. Ive been coming here for two years and nothing is going to stop me.

My favorite Thai place around UW. Fast and friendly service. They usually dont have a wait and food is out within 10 min. Food is very delicious and there is a decent variety. Some choose the lunch special, but I usually just order off the menu. They seem to have lots of orders for delivery so it is more popular than it appears in restaurant. The restaurant itself is a bit hole-in-the-wall down in the basement of the building it occupies. Been going there for years.

I love thai food so I was excited to try this place. Ordered takeout: tofu panang curry and corn patties. Food came out in under 5 minutes and there were several orders ahead of me. Didnt give me a good vibe that it was fresh. The curry was below average, I asked for medium spicy but got a bland mild. Corn patties saved the meal, interesting dish with tasty sauce. Overall not impressed, panda express would have been a better choice.

Fantastic food. They are very aware of gluten, which makes things super helpful for me trying to figure out my allergen-friendly food options. Love the Phad Thai and their curry. Very calm atmosphere as well when there is less customers around, and still nice even when the place is pretty full.

Worst thai restaurant I tried in Seattle. I ordered the pad thai and was simply tasteless with no spice or flavor. There are many great thai restaurants you could go to that is close by (Thai Tom, Amazing Thai which is my favorite place and the price is so cheap too!).

While two years ago when I first when here, the quality was very decent and reasonable for the price, the taste has unfortunately declined recently. The most recent visit a few months ago was almost unpalatable. There are superior Thai restaurants in the area.

Ive had the Tom Kha from many different places, and it feels like this place is trying to do waaay too much with a soup that could easily remain simple and delicious. Calm down with all the extra stuff youre throwing in, guys. It was just fine before.

My favorite Thai restaurant on the Ave. Everything is good, and they have an excellent selection of dishes. Far more spacious than Thai Tom, groups can be seated at tables with little effort. Im particularly fond of the salads and seafood dishes.

My favorite Thai place in the area! I always get either the phad thai or phad see ew and its delicious. The two sisters who work there are so nice and the fish tank with Dory and Nemo always amuses me. Really good place to go with a big group.

We had the shrimp pad thai and shrimp paste fried rice with beef for lunch. The portions were perfect for the two of us, and the prices were good. The pad thai had a lot of flavor and the beef was seasoned really well too.

The Little Thai Restaurant has the best Tofu Phad Thai anywhere. Their service is fast and friendly. Their portions are large. They are an excellent value. I have been a regular there for years.

Very good food. Their fresh spring rolls are very different from places Ive tried. And curry is yummy! Now I go consistently to this place. Switched from Little Thai Restaurant on Seattle, WA.
