Recently I visited this resturaunt twice in one week. The first visit the waiteress was wearing dirty street clothes.she had tight sweats on and you could see her plumbers crack. She kept cussing the one time she did stop by to take our order. I ignored it because its one of the only place that serves hawaiian food and several days later I was in the area so I decided to call my order in and told them ill be in at such time. I get there and the lady says she forgot to ask if I wanted my kaula pork warm or cold over the phone. I gave them an hour heads up, why would I call in if all I had to do was walk infor cold food. Its kaula pork no biggy so I told her dont worry warming it up. So I leave thirty minutes passed the said time. Im on the road on cruise. Control so I pull out my food to munch on. My lau lau was frozen. So I called in. Basically they told me so what and deal with it and what am I suppose to do about it. I tried telling them why would I call in an hour ahead for frozen food. If anything I could warm it up under my car heater. With the attitude I was getting from peter our converstion grew heated and he basically said if I came in to return myfood he would slapp me.

Discovered this place via google maps yesterday while I was looking for a good place to eat during my lunch break. This place popped up and after reading the reviews, I decided I had to try it. I was not disappointed. I had their crispy ginger chicken with their "famous" homemade macaroni salad and fried rice. It was delicious. For being in an obscure location, the place was packed which lead me to believe people come from all over the Seattle area to eat here and have authentic Hawaiian food. I will deifnitely be going back for more deliciousness!

Being native Hawaiian myself, Im so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in Seattle! The food is prepared perfectly and more importantly, tastes exactly how it should (the Kailua pig is my favorite and their mac salad is just like from home!) -- not to mention, the customer service is awesome! Absolutely love Kauai Family Restaurant; I only wish there was one on the East side, as I drive more than 40 miles (one way!) to eat here!

Oh man this place is amazing!!! You have to get some cake from the attached bakery before you leave too, you wont regret it. Both places have incredible traditional Hawaiian food that youll love. I get their ginger chicken and highly recommend it. Then from the bakery next door you gotta try everything. Sorry but, its all so good I have no specific recommendation, its all just so incredible.

The food is amazing. This family moved from Kauai and to Seattle and from all of my friends on Kauai, "they took the best local food on Kauai with them." So This place is very authentic and incredible delicious. You can get malasadas, and some ono musubis. There is a cake shop attached and I think owned by the same family that has some great cakes too. Get the chantilly cake.

Let me first say that the food is delicious and a great deal, but the customer service is so poor that I have a hard time recommending this restaurant to anyone. I have been to Kauais Family Restaurant 5 times now and the service keeps getting worst. If you do go expect to be ignored by waitress and to wait a really long time for your food. The Kalua Pork is awesome.

A small family owned Hawaiian restaurant. I had the Lao Lao pork for lunch and it was tasty. It was nothing spectacular though. The waitress also forgot my dad in-laws tea, which was no big deal. They were busy. Definitely a nice lunch option to have for those who work down in Georgetown. Parking was really difficult, but that is the case everywhere in Seattle.

Ok this place is really awesome for food. However the Dine in Service is terrible. The last 3 times I have been there, I have walked out after waiting for a longtime to have a waitress serve me. The last time I literally sat there for 30 minutes. I work close to them and hope they fix this soon. I love good food, But really hate bad service.

Great food! Ive tried most on their menu and no complaints on anything. I know others may have said service was not up to par, but I have never had any problems. They are always cordial with me. Not sure if those people are just rude, but they do have a nice Hawaiian atmosphere going on. Definitely will go back without question.

Found this place after taking Helicopter ride. Plate lunch BBQ and macaroni salad very tasty. Three different dishes, all :-P . Will make the trip from Redmond just to eat here. Family owned, run. Went on Saturday, had live hawaiian music players. Thought I was back home in Hawaii when I walked in. Excellent service too!

Wow. Helpful and quick service and amazing food. Crispy Ginger Chicken was the best fried chicken Ive ever had, ribs were really meaty and just fell off the bone (no big fat hunks). I also highly recommend the cucumber kimchi. Did I mention the Crispy Ginger Chicken? Seriously. Get the chicken.

Awesome hole in the wall, defined. Not your typical Hawaiian restaurant - menu has the standards, and then some! Its a small place, always crowded (lunch). Shared tables. Very friendly staff. Parking is free, but very difficult. Honestly, Id recommend take out. Inexpensive.

Great breakfast and the chicken was unbelievable. I never would have tried Spam and discovered I like it if it wasnt for this place. Their hash browns were good too. The family atmosphere and great service made for a experience.

Stumbled on this family-owned hole in the wall gem. Share your table with some new friends and enjoy! Ginger chicken and fried rice were great and not greasy like some places. The live music 3rd Saturdays for lunch was a bonus.

This is the only place I found here in Seattle that can transport me back home to Hawaii the moment I step inside, from the authentic food, the local Hawaii people eating there, the workers, and even entertainment sometimes.

Quick and responsive service. My water cup never went empty and food came after a 10-15 minute wait. I only got the crispy ginger chicken and highly recommend it! It was nicely fried yet didnt feel too heavy after consumed.
