Went here for lunch today as I work just around the corner. Took me a while to decide what to order because several options looked great, but I settled on a butternut squash sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and vegan to boot. Even the small sandwich was enough to fill me up decently. Though for $7 and change, it was quite the expensive sandwich. tl;dr great tasting food, but slightly expensive.

When I go to a place that seems trendy and the food is overpriced I expect damn good food and I didnt get that at Homegrown. I had the reuben and it was so-so and the soup was nothing special. My girlfriend had the beet sandwich and also didnt leave impressed. This place excels at green marketing but leaves much to be desired when it comes to good food and value.

This place has great sandwiches that are very affordable. Also, all day breakfast sandwiches! The soup (tomato bisque) is very salty. Everything else Ive had there has been really good - Id recommend the hummus sandwich and the roasted vegetables and zataar seasonal special.

Cool vibe and all, but it was $17 for a GF sandwich/bag of chips. There is a charge for gluten free bread per half sandwich. The food is good, and tastes fresh but it totally breaks the bank if youre looking for a cheap bite, especially in Fremont.

Delicious sandwiches (we tried the ham and Beechers and the smoked pastrami) made with natural and locally-sourced ingredients. As noted by others, the prices are a bit high but thats to be expected with organic, free-range, gluten-free, etc.

not bad, but its a lot more hype then substance. They supposedly use all local ingredients. and thats great, but it makes for a pricey sandwich shop that I feel is average in taste... If buying local is important to you, eat here.

Quality ingredients and great recipes mean you can always try a new sandwich. Go for something off their menu that you wouldnt normally order. you should be pleasantly surprised. Can be difficult to find a table at times.

Tasty sandwiches (roast beef & swiss and an unconventional reuben) in a sustainable format. Biggest drawback is inflexibility -- they dont even have mustard, so if you want to customize your sandwich, its not going to happen.

One of my favorite sandwich spots in Fremont. The people are super friendly. The store is clean and food is always good and consistent. The menu had a good variety and they source things locally which is always a plus.

Delicious - I had the BLT and was not disappointed. Partner had the Beechers and Ham, said it actually "tasted healthy" unlike most cheese-heavy sandwiches. Service was friendly and quick. Definitely going back!

Delicious, healthy sandwiches! Ive tried both their vegetarian sandwiches and meat sandwiches, everything was superb. Im pretty sure everything they use is locally sourced as well. Definitely worth a try!

Despite being out of several things that I would have ordered, Homegrown was enjoyable. I got a sandwich and was happy with the size of it. It was good, if messy. I would easily go back for a quick meal.

Homegrown really hits the spot and is a homerun! This place rocks and you rarely leave unsatisfied and hungry. Great portions. Delicious Sammys and salad. If you want a great lunch, dont look farther!

Delicious, clean eating! We stopped in after visiting the Fremont troll nearby. Enjoyed all our sandwiches and meals. I definitely recommend if youre looking for a healthy but filling option.
