Ill preface this by saying that Im not particularly hard to please and have given a lot more 4 or 5 star reviews than ones under 3, on any site. However, BeachHouse left me feeling cheated and angered. We arrived for an OpenTable reservation for brunch on time, only to be told to wait 10 minutes to be seated because the kitchen was turning over. After 10 minutes, and seeing half of the seating area with empty tables, I asked if our party of 6 could be seated, since there was no reason to stand outside if our table was ready. We werent given menus, and nobody came by our table for 10 minutes -- I got up and retrieved menus from the servers station to give out at my table -- thats not something I do, but we might have waited another 30 minutes for menus otherwise. The food was fine. The sausage was reminiscent of what youd be served at Dennys or IHOP, but everything else was at least 3 stars, if not inspired. But service remained poor -- for instance, we practically had to stand up and wave to flag down the server to get a coffee refill after 20 minutes. Because we were a party of 6, they automatically added an 18% gratuity, which Ive never had occasion to be resistant to. I would have left this review on OpenTable, but just to add insult to injury, the restaurant said we were a no show, so I cant review there yet. Im eager to rectify that with OpenTable support so that I can share my review there as well. Please dont subject yourself to this.

The food was amazing, the location and view were second to none. I ordered the blackened Mahi tacos (daily special) and from my first bite I was glad I did - BUT THEN my wife gave me a bite of her Salmon BLT and I immediately began bartering my tacos for the rest of her sandwich. I would come back tomorrow for another one of these sandwiches (on Chibatta) My only knock was on the service. There were 3 or 4 people standing around at all times, yet our server was running around and some times hard to get a hold of. The atmosphere, however, made up for what the service lacked, making for a pleasant date night for us. I would highly recommend you visit

In Madison Park, the BeachHouse Bar + Grill is a lovely lunch spot across from the lake. Three of us enjoyed Paella, a pulled pork banh mi sandwich (with tasty Vietnamese spiciness), and an Alaska wild salmon BLT sandwich. All were remarkably delicious, and the salads that accompanied our sandwiches were fresh and ample. The service was friendly, but lacked responsiveness. If the BeachHouse could perfect their service, theyd offer the nearby Cactus restaurant some real competition!

We must have been here on an off night. Service was slow, my order was wrong and my replacement tool nearly 30min to show up and only because my wife asked about its status. The manager that night was very apologetic and comped my entree, which was nice. The confusing part about this place was that the food was actually pretty good. It must have been an off night for the service staff. I may go back if I am in the area, but I wouldnt go out of my way to go here again.

Service was awful. There was no one at the restaurant and somehow they managed to take almost an hour to bring us our food. When the food finally arrived it was not cooked as ordered, burnt, and sloppily served. We were also never given any silverware other than the a butter knife and never given a refill on water. I would rather eat at McDonalds.

Service was really slow, waiting way too long for a simple burger. After the food showed up it was cold and undercooked. Our entire table didnt see an entire fork, which made eating salad difficult. Once the server left the food, we never saw him again up till we asked for our checks. 0/10 would not bang.

Cocktails arent bad but are quite pricey. The servers are blunt although they do frequent the tables (feels like its more commercial common sense than good service). Food menu is very limited for this sort of venue as most people tend to stick around for several hours.

Im looking forward to paying them a visit in the summer, beautiful building. Good service, sit in the bar area upstairs for a better aesthetic. Parking can be a little obnoxious. They gave us the fish tacos instead of the fish, but the fish tacos were fantastic.

On a Saturday afternoon HH is fairly priced and food is flavorful a few of my favorites; Cajun Fettuccine, Flat Iron Seared Beef tips and Cod Fish. The top Deck berries is great oh a sunny day. Staff is helpful and i would recommend you take advantage.

Dont listen to the bad reviews. These people are all rookies in the restaurant game. Im a local to Madison park and BeachHouse has the best customer service and atmosphere Ive experienced in a Seattle restaurant. 6 stars if possible...

Good food and nice ambiance upstairs. The mainfloor dinning room is really lovely, but for the HUGE tv screens which flash colored ligjts and ruin the whole experience. Take down the tv(s) in the main dinning room.
