BY FAR the BEST flavors I have ever had at a vegetarian restaurant of any type. If you have never cared for an all-veggie meal, this place might change your mind. Now, Im part carnivore for sure...MEAT is definitely on my diet and I cant live without my beef/chicken/pork items. That said, when I walked in to the restaurant and sat down, I was kind-of skeptical to see that the menu had all kinds of "meat names." Like Mongolian "Beef" or General Tsos "Chicken" (notice the quotes) But they soon explained that it was their vegetarian version of the dishes. I dunno...maybe they just wanted to make the average American relate the dish to something familiar. So, I was ready for the worst...

I decided to grab lunch somewhere before work and stumbled upon Blossom. When I came in around 1:30pm, there was only a handful of people and I was greeted courteously and seated. The menu continued to throw me off as most menu items have a meat in them, but I can assure you that there is no real meat in them as the menu says as well. The prices for food was pretty good and the lunch menu had some good options. I decided on jasmine tea, blossom fresh rolls, and a pho with several types of "meat." So, I never got the jasmine tea but I decided not to press it and it was not on my bill when I got it. The blossom rolls were delicious with the peanut sauce with a little hot sauce added. The pho had three kinds of meat with fried tofu and was around a size medium with a solid amount of noodles at other places. The veggies were fresh and the only complaint was the funky taste of one specific meat. Overall, filling and good for the price-- $22 with a generous tip. Would recommend for anyone who enjoys tasty vegetarian food.

I came with a fellow vegetarian friend of mine, and weve had some really good vegetarian/vegan eats over the past 5 years but this was the worst. Our appetizer was the chicken with sweet and sour sauce and all of the chicken was burnt and came with very little sauce to at least mask it. He got soft egg noodles with no mushroom and they gave us crispy noodles with mushrooms and the overall dish was overpoweringly salty. I got general tsaos chicken, but they gave me the sweet and sour chicken of which was disgustingly squishy. If you want a friend whos new at being a vegetarian/vegan, dont bring them here. Theyll give up.

It is a very rare occasion where I actually have to look over the menu and think about options. I am not vegetarian, but just have a strong preference for vegetarian food. So I stopped in post-workout, looking for a light supper. Good choice; the tofu pho was flavorful and brimming with vegetables. Too big for me to finish. The tea selection was also amazing, including several decaf options. All at a lower price than you would think (seriously, there are hipster joints in Seattle that cost double the price and arent nearly as good). The restaurant atmosphere is very relaxing and almost spa-like.

I am not a vegetarian, by far. But Im always willing to try new stuff. Ive been to other vegeterian restaurants in TX, so it wasnt my first. But it defenitely was the best. The flavors were amazing. The Tofu, even tho it is supposed to be flavorless, its tx l texture was soft and it tasted great with the soup. Pieces of tofu were pretty big. The only thing, I asked for extra fresh veggies, and I didnt get very many veggies. The service was outstanding. Immediately got sat down and service was quick. My meal was served in 10 minutes! This is a great place! Highly recommend it.

Im so thankful my Husband and I moved walking distance from this Restaurant!! Its hard as Pescatarians to find good restaurants that fully cater to vegan/vegetarian lifestyle... Anything that said BEEF, CHICKEN, PORK OR PRAWNS were all Soy based products. The Buddhist chef had the food on point to where you couldnt tell it wasnt really meat!! Packed full of customers and happy bellies!! Enjoyed wine and Hot Sake on a cold day with our meal. The atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable!! Will definitely keep making this a date night favorite!!

Freakin amazin.. just go get some with a open mind that this might not be like anything you have had before, lemongrass anything is good and pumpkin soup is on rotation with my favorite pho soup place that offers vegetable broth. The chicken fried rice was superb im also going to recommend trying the clay pots, eggplant has been my go to. I would stay away from appetizers and go with another main dish if your the kind of person that doesnt mind leftovers. YUM, heading there now.

Im Samoan...that means I didnt grow up on vegan/vegetarian food lol my wife brought me here 5 years ago...and I have never had a bad experience. Gene and his wife are awesome people who come across as hardworking and honest people. This is a gem in the rough for sure. If they had 6 stars Id give them 10. Ps: most people would eat this food and not even know it was meatless. Its tasty and doesnt have the greasy/fatty residual taste.

There are lots of Asian restaurants that serve vegetarian/vegan fare but usually theyre a small part of the menu, Blossom is an exception. Everything is vegetarian or vegan. Dont be fooled by "beef" or "chicken" these are mock meats and tasty ones at that. Blossom is a located in downtown Renton, a little out of the way and parking can be a challenge but the food is worth the effort. Very tasty. I just wish it were closer to Seattle.

My husband and I are thankful that Blossom (Vegetarian Restaurant) owners, chef and dedicated team creates unbelievable tasting Vegan meals. Everyone who we have brought to Blossom or have tried our take out are shocked they are not eating poultry, Meat, or fish. Prior to trying Blossom they could not understand how we could go Vegan as a couple. It does not matter if you are Vegetarian...If you are a foodie you must try this place.

Amazing! Im not a vegetarian by any means, and I rarely if ever eat Vietnamese, but the food here was unbelievable. I got the Egg Noodle Soup (with no bean speouts) and my husband ordered the Blossom soup. The broths appeared the same, but they tasted vastly different. Other reviewers recommended the Ginger Fried Fish and Fried Rice. Our server recommended the sesame beef or general tsos chicken. You really cant go wrong here.
