This little restaurant is a whole in a wall restaurant in an aging shopping center, but the food, service and portions are great. I have had several items here and I have liked them all and overall I think the food is fresh and delicious. The people are nice and wait on your every request quickly and politely. Now for the lucnh crowd get this, for lunch you get one item, rice (fried or white), Spring roll, soup (the soup is even included in the to go meal), and tea, all for about $7.00. Compare that to Dynasty where you only get white rice soup (NO soup on to go orders) and a main item for about the same price, actually a bit more. Plus Peking has more lunch items to choose from, 14 of which are spicy as opposed to only 7 spicy items at Dynasty (Oh yea, I like it spicy =) Well hope that helps. Scott.

Was very hesitant to try this place but ended being happily surprised! Our family had made a road trip stop nearby to eat at another restaurant which was closed for Easter Sunday. This restaurant was our only other option nearby and so we took our chances. Turned out to be a wonderful meal and will likely be our go to place when traveling between Santa Rosa and Tahoe. We ordered Sizzling Rice Soup (great broth!) Calamari (perfect texture & freshness), Moo Shu Pork (not too sweet!), Singapore Noodles (only decent as noodles were a bit moist - great flavor though) & Beef with Bok Choy (very tasty). We will be back!

The food is tasty. The atmosphere inside is fair, but I have to say I generally take out. The service is timely and courteous. The styling of the food is more Americanized Chinese, but outcome is in line with "Yay, just like moms cooking," very home like flavors. The main drawback is that it is pretty expensive for what you are getting, however in Fairfield it seems like the best deal. There are other places that offer fare at the same price, but considerably worse tasting.

My husband and I just moved here and wanted to try out a few Chinese restaurants. This is the first one we went to. As we walked in, there was a very overpowering smell. Almost as if people had been smoking in there for years. Before we could decide whether to leave or stay the waitress greeted us and sat us. The menu was a mess with all sorts of errors. Our pot stickers came out raw...The service was friendly and understanding. I will never go there again.

Peking Restaurant has been the best find for me in a long time. All of dishes Ive ordered have been really fresh - I love the seafood dishes and the crisp veggies they toss in. It a little far out of my way but totally worth the extra trip to get awesome quality at reasonable prices. The service is ridiculously friendly to boot.

I took a sip of the tea and looked into the cup only to realize there was a roach leg at the bottom of the cup...there was other customers so I did not want to cause any problems so I quietly let him know and he got mad with me....anyway I left before any of the meal reached my table...thank goodness.

Food is delicious. I would score it a 5..if the place wasnt run down. I know the owners for over 15 years of eating there. They know my name! I wish they had time to remodel the place and make it brighter but that would mean the food would not be available... nah! I dont want that!

Great Food. Veggies are always fresh . The people are really friendly. I sometimes have requests like "add broccoli" or "substitute this for that" they are always accommodating and dont seem to mind. If you are looking for a good meal in Fairfield you have found it.

They always use really fresh seasonal vegetables. Never overly greasy like some places. The hot and sour soup is excellent, never had anything bad from there. Its family owned by people that live nearby. Love it!

We are from out of town and thought the food was great. Sure, typical Chinese, but far better than most places of its kind that weve been too. A bit too pricey though- we changed our order to keep it reasonable.
