Ive been to several other A&W Locations and they are all closer to typical fast food joints. You still have a small wait but usually not more than 5-6 minutes. This location is not that way, in fact they are quite the opposite. I wish I could give negative stars. Their speaker system for the drive-thru has been broken since last fall, so you have to look at the menu and then hope by the time you get to the window you can remember the right numbers for their menu because the incredibly rude staff sure wont help you with the menu and get upset if you have to ask questions. The last time I went to this location I was in line for almost an hour before I got my food. The truck in front of me gave his order and waited 25min before they gave him his food and then I had to wait another 25+ after having to give my order three different times because the woman could not for the life of her get it right and started to get really nasty with me because I expected her to get a simple order right after 3 attempts. Ive worked in the food industry and I can understand maybe missing something the first go around, but after 3 times its a bit ridiculous. Not to mention when I FINALLY got my correct order, half of it was cold and it was just awful, more grease than burger and the fries tasted like the oil hadnt been changed in months. Wont be going there again until they get their issues resolved.

The food is expensive and the quality is horrible and very inconsistent. I just spent $27 for two meals and they could not have been more disgusting. The fries were cold and completely saturated with oil like a sponge they were not even edible (squeezing a fry resulted in oil dripping all over the table). The burger was beyond horrible. It had nasty old lettuce and a bottom bun that was soaked in pickle juice, it was literally mushy like wet paper. The top bun had a huge brown spot on the top where grease had begun to soak through; this is probably because it appeared they may have literally smashed the burger together with there hands before they packed it in the bag, weird.... Finally the cheese curds were dark brown because they were burnt; So bad that all the cheese was cooked out and they could not be chewed by a human. The owners either dont care their business sucks, or are not aware. You cannot expect to turn a profit very long when you sell inedible food. I seriously implore the owners to address the issues at this restaurant before they get someone sick. I realize that I came during your all you can eat (which is a horrible business strategy anyways), but that should not effect the quality of your product; if it does you should probably quit.

Over priced. Store has degraded from lack of matience. I assume business is poor and due to that they cant repair basic things like drive thru speaker. past history the store has been shut down for whatever reason I assume poor investments with owners not willing to adapt. I believe this will eventually fail just like the godfathers across the parking lot. Actually the whole Port orchard mall has been a pretty big failure only be kept up by the hardware store and Goodwill. Maybe with large expansion in Port orchard in the next 20 years this whole area might have a chance at revival but I doubt it. The failure of this place to adapt will lead to an abandoned mall much like the empty stores.in east Bremerton.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves after a long day and stopped by for a quick bite. We went in which we rarely do and are glad we did! It was like stepping back in time! The original A&W signage was still up, and while everything was old it was well taken care of. Even the parking lot and dumpster area were well maintained! The burgers were FANTASTIC, the cheese curds to die for and the young man at the counter was a total sweetheart. It wasnt until we were leaving that we realized they had closed the lobby mere seconds after we walked in. We will definitely treat ourselves here again and again!

We just stopped at this Port Orchard WA location and their dining room was closed with no hours of opperation sign posted. So we asked the drivethru clerk when they normally closed the dining area and she said 8:30 and they decided to close up shop early cause they were slow. Well there were 2 cars that came thru after us and we watched them park and get out of their vehicles only to get back in. We were really upset and ended up not even getting our craved rootbeer floats... Clearly their customer is not a top priority for them.... :-(

Best burgers in history...EVER! The double SteakHouse is like angels punching me in the face. Im telling you, AMAZING! This place is classic A&W not some weak Sonic Burger rip-off corporate junk. Ive been eating here since I was 5 year old...I was gone for 10 years, came back, and still as amazing as ever. Any sucker who dares call this place gross or unsanitary is some kind of hypochondriac. Great service, friendly workers, insanely good root beer...what more do you need? EAT HERE!

Very disappointed. Grew up eating here as a treat. Food was great, atmosphere and service was as well. Now, the food is well below subpar, not made correctly and the fries were double fried and old. While I can appreciate saving money, serving your customers twice cooked food is not acceptable. The interior is in need of cleaning and some freshening up. I dont care to have my shoes stick to the floor.... Its a shame. Either get it together or close. I wont be back.

Ate there twice in the past two weeks. First time was 3 cheeseburgers, and they were all burnt crispy, cold but seasoned well. Thought that it may have been an off day for them, because Im from Wisconsin and love A&W, so went back for another shot. Decide onto get the all you can eat because the price was good, and you could choose anything on your the menu. Had 4 rounds of cold soggy burgers, cheese nuggets, chicken strips, and fries. Aweful cold food.

This place has really gone down hill since I was a kid. Several girls working here just stand around while maybe two people do all the work. The old lady who is always there (the manager I assume) is super rude and always looks angry. It always takes forever to get your food. Even if there is hardly anyone there. Plus they are way over priced. Make a change quick, get new young skilled management blood into the mix and make this place good again.

Just a great and fun place to go. Lots of history there. Friendly staff, and great food. Been going here for a long time. Really nice owners. People say it is a little expensive but I would not say so. I think people think it is because they compare it to mcdonalds and burger king when you really cant compare. A&W, at least this one is more like a family diner, not a fast food joint. You get better food, and service.
