Terrible service! We are literally never returning to another Red Robin. Our server (Cody?) took at least 10 minutes to even get to our table and take our drink order, it was not busy, there were tons of servers on staff working in what appeared to be 4-5 table sections. The table across from us who also had the same server walked out since it was taking him so long to return for their food order. The table behind us had all sorts of issues with not receiving sides or the correct gluten free items they ordered. The hostess refilled our water and daugters lemonade, another server delivered my boyfriends beer, the expo or possibly a different server delivered our food, I dont know what our server was doing! My boyfriend managed to snag our server for a fry refill order we got no sooner than 20 minutes after placing it, which at the same time he brought me one as well but not the garlic fries I had originally ordered. We asked for more ranch when we ordered our refill fries, did not get it, from our server or the person who dropped off our fries, finally walked back to the kitchen service area to ask another server for a side of ranch. Our food was decent, sub par US Foods or Food Service of America standard grub, delivered hot, typical Red Robin cuisine. The bathroom was clean. The hostess and all others staff were great, as we were promptly seated and primarily helped by everyone but our server who didnt even bring us silverware or napkins. The manager on duty who we left a complaint with on our way out was also very sweet and apologetic, not her fault! She checked in with us right after we placed our food order since our table top pad was dying and a previous guest had apparently left a cell phone behind they were searching for. We are fairly understanding people, one of us a small business owner and other a bartender with 14 years in the service industry but this was just ridiculous! What we were hoping to be a quick meal turned into a hour long ordeal lol at least we got a check and box quickly so we could finally escape!

First our server did not know the fry sauces they offered, which is ok I understand but now I expect you to go find out for me and then come back to let me know. I literally had to google it, at the Puyallup location they have the fry sauce list inside their menu why this Red Robin does not I have no idea! Secondly when our food arrived I saw the manager bringing it out and then our server took it from him to serve us, this is when I noticed that the top fries on my plate were smashed like something was on top of them and then I found 2 mushrooms stuck to the other side of them. My burger had no mushrooms on them. Thirdly about 5 minutes into getting our food she drops off the check for us. I really dislike receiving the check in the middle of us eating it felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant and it wasnt even a busy night! Fourthly I had to hunt her down to get us more fries, its unlimited steak fries why am I waiting to get more of these? If you run past my table look to see that they are all gone and refill them. Fifthly I let her know that we needed the check separated and I had a to go order for my husband she quickly seemed very inconvenienced by this, which is ridiculous because the higher my bill the higher your tip. Also in this economy I dont go out to eat very much so when I do I expect great customer service. Lastly I am a red robin rewards member and I had a coupon for a free dessert she asked me to write the number down on the receipt and she would apply that for me. I wrote down the whole member number for her to come back and rudely tell me she can not do it by the member number it has to be the phone number. Ok.....so I gave her the number. My biggest complaint here is why doesnt red robin ask about the rewards program? Your company really pushed it when I got it and its a great deal but I have never had not a single server ask me if I was a rewards member.

I am normally not the type to write a review but after today I have to ask what has happened to common courtesy in the world today. My family of six (5 adults and one child) went to late lunch today at the capital mall red robin and we were very disappointed. They sat us at a small round table which was fine except that several staff members decided to go back and forth behind my daughter in laws back which was only about a 10 inch gap behind her and the the wall behind her instead of around the table making my daughter in law have to move or have someones belly touch her back or head. This happened at least four times and the last one carried a tray full of food over her head. If the last waitress would have got her apron caught like one of the other staff members had we would have had someone else food on our table. I understand busy restaurants but the fact that there were at least three empty tables around us and several others in the restaurant that they could have sat us at. The staff also needs to be taught common courtesy for other people.the staff should have gone around and not been so rude. I would also say that the managers didnt seem to care either all they really said was it is a tight area and we will talk to the staff. I am sorry but if it is a tight area then dont set that big of a party there when you have other options. we will not be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. WORST experience ever. They shoved us into a booth/table, then put people RIGHT next to us when they had a whole section of the restaurant open. Our waitress was uninterested and unfriendly. She took our order, brought our food out. My son ordered a grilled cheese and the bread was stale, the cheese was RUBBER and not melted. I sent it back. I ordered a chicken wrap, and the chicken was so hard I couldnt even bite through it. I took MAYBE two bites. She didnt ask how our food was at all. My boyfriends food was good, he didnt complain - however she never once offered him more fries, she just took his plate when he was done. I had to ask her for the check, after we had been sitting there with an antsy 2 year old for about 10 minutes. She brings the check and it has the grilled cheese meal on it. ONE bite was taken out of that meal. She didnt even offer to remove it from our bill. At this point I was so frustrated and my son was getting fussy, so I just gave her my card. She brought me the paper to sign, and I put a big ZERO over the tip line and signed it. We got up to leave and she CHASED US DOWN, and said, "here you can have this!!" I said, uh, no thank you. Then she replied, "Well next time dont even bother signing it!" I have NEVER been so angry or humiliated in my life. I will not be going there again.
