First of all, I am not giving this diner 2 stars because of their food; everyone enjoyed the meal, although my turkey pot pie was REALLY peppery. I took my mother in law and daughter there last night (11-21-15) for dinner after a girls afternoon together. We are done eating, the waitress gives me the bill, I hand her my Discover card, she takes it and here is where the unbelievable BS starts. 1) the ladies next to me asked if they could see the design on my card, she showed them without covering my account (okay, I did not say anything) 2) she comes back to my table about 7-8 min later with a refund receipt stating that they do not take that card- I looked at my m-i-law perplexed- so when she finally came back I obviously asked "if you dont accept it, than how could it have gotten through and then refunded?" She asked her manger who replied that this company charges too much money- Well I did not have any other cards, my m-i-law gave her card over before I could say anything. I asked to speak with the manager because then the waitress came back with a bill for a different amount and my m-i-laws bill was different- This cluster took about 30 minutes total. I asked the waitress how they could deny my card when there are no decals ANYWHERE or on menu of what they accept- all she could do is agree with me. I was so embarrassed that I did not want to make a big deal in front of them. I called when I got home, left a voicemail, never received a call back. Besides my waitress being nice, she should not handle money, her and the manager suck at helping out the customer.

The food isnt exceptional, but its diner food and if you go in with that expectation youre not likely to be disappointed. Yes, Ive had the occasional overly-salty soup (and this isnt just my palette—two diners nearby also sent their soup back as inedible) or watery spaghetti (shake that collander, cooks!) but overall its good, honest, comfort food. The place seems to cater to locals and regulars. Breakfasts are always good. Dinners can be a little hit and miss. The waitstaff are always pleasant, if sometimes rushed. If youre looking for a burger, breakfast, or some homey food like meatloaf, give them a try.

A man works hard for his money and with the huge rising costs of everyday living. It is nice to every now and then take his family out for lunch. It is really frustrating and sad when that meal costs 65.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids and the meal is small and barely good enough to eat. The sodas tasted moldy and the tiny handful of fries were insufficient. Ive never had a cheeseburger with mushrooms that had very few mushrooms and were out of a can. I am upset, sick, and feel bad for my family

The turkey gravy is sort of translucent and sticky. Very little flavor. It seemed like it was from one of those packets you buy at the grocery stores. The stuffing though, that tasted homemade. The turkey was good, moist and cooked perfectly. Were not regulars, so we didnt get quite the same level of service our waitress gave to the other tables were she knew the customers by name. I left a large tip anyway since its tough work.

This has been one if our favorite places to dine since we moved to the area. Is got a classic hometown feel and is super family friendly. I like almost everything in the menu but i will admit their meats arent the best. They serve breakfast all day and i love the breakfasts. Pancakes are huge. Dinners are huge. Burgers are huge. They serve liquor wine and beer. Whats not to love about this place.

One of the worst burgers Ive ever had. Second visit after getting an expensive breakfast that was subpar on my first visit. The restaurant was dirty and although the staff was friendly that was about all I can say positive about my experience. I wont be back and wouldnt recommend it.

Good, hearty breakfast! For about $12/person youll get breakfast plates with more food than one person can eat in one sitting. Its not just big its good as well. The ambiance wont be for everyone but has a very comfortable country diner feel. I enjoy this place very much!

I sat there for 15 minutes waiting for my to go order that was just sitting up on the warmer ready to be put in a bag. The rude waitress walked past it several times so I had to ask another waitress if that was my food. I will never be coming back here again

Soup of the day was epic. Salad was fine. Turkey dinner was ok. I wont come back, but I could see if someone likes an old school diner feel/food why they would love this place. It feels like super heroes eat here before they go fight crime in a movie.

What more could you ask for? Cooks that KNOW how to cook and take pride in their work. Servers that are attentive, friendly and pay attention to detail. And with portions bigger then the prices, its no wonder ive been coming here for decades.

Great local ma and pa diner. Very greasy. Bring your tums. On the weekends they have eggs benedict. The chicken fried steak is epic. I always get the gravy on the side so it heats up nicely in the toaster oven later that day.

Im sure there will be more stars. Somehow our order got lost and our food never came out. Would have really liked to try the food. It would have been nice if they told us they lost our order before we walked out.

We really like coming here, food is great and the price is perfect. The only reason it got 4 starts was for the seating, its seat yourself and not much of a waiting area, can get confusing on weekend mornings.

Fish and chips were really amazing, Theyre sausage gravy biscuits were to die for. Staff is always very kind and helpful. Prices are decent. Looks kind of like a "Retro" diner. Overall 9.5/10

Breakfast is great, sometimes food could be warmer, may be used a heated plate? Service is friendly. Clean. Go with hot tea as coffee is not up to NW expectation. This is a do again 4 us.

Love this cozy place, staff is great, many old timers and veterans come to this place and it gets crowded, however the waiting time to get seated and bring your food or order is fast!

A decent place. Food took forever and our soda water was never refilled (even though we were charged full price). Friendly waitress and fun atmosphere. Huge portions on the carbs.

Wow how refreshing. A real diner, real service, real value (pricey soda,2.35). Great meat loaf and surprisingly good coffee. Ate Sunday night, seat your self.
