Basically serving reheated mass-produced frozen food (Restaurant Depot Supply apparently, based on Yelp) in a somewhat nice atmosphere, at premium prices. I ordered a chicken parmesan that was on par with the frozen food aisle in Safeway, and the accompanying spaghetti had to have been frozen-reheated (probably boiled in a plastic bag or just microwaved). Same frozen-food-aisle quality for my wifes vegetarian burger. To be fair, the beet salad was good and the atmosphere was somewhat nice. Ill give an extra star for that. Service was fairly slow despite the restaurant being half-empty, and near the end I had to stand up to get the attention of one of the waitstaff to bring the check and get two items to-go; half of my chicken parmesan, and remaining half of my wifes salad. They were all standing at the far end of the bar, sharing a laugh, watching TV for quite a few minutes, and oblivious to the patrons until I stood up and waved. The icing on the cake was when we received a single to-go box. The guy who packed up my wifes beet salad and my chicken parmesan put them in the same small container?! He then seemed perturbed that I asked him to please put them in separate boxes. (He looked younger, probably his first job as a waiter, so Ill cut him some slack.) That said, my vegetarian wife doesnt want to eat her now chicken-grease covered salad. We shouldve known theres a reason this place was half-empty on a Saturday night when all the other nearby restaurants were packed. Two-stars since we didnt have a completely terrible experience, but we wont be back.

Found Metro City using Yelp. I think the 4 star rating is fair. We went there for dinner but we definitely want to try breakfast. Service - great Margarita - so so, have had much better Wine - Would like to see more than one choice of chardonnay Metro City Burger - really good - HUGE Brotatoes - really liked them. Serving would easily feed 3-4 people Gyro Platter - Dont expect the serving to be like you would get in a Greek restaurant. Each item was separate, the gyro meat (would have liked more), the onions, the tomatoes, the tzatziki sauce and the pit bread. i cant imagine having to share the gyros. Also a little less spicy that I am accustomed to but still tasty. Liked the fries which were straight cut but tasted like curly fries. Chicken N Waffle Sliders - interesting combination. My husband liked it but not sure he would do a re-order. Wanted to try the wings, the street tacos, and the calamari, but that will be another trip Kathy

Overrated! Ordered ham steak and eggs with hash brown potato. The eggs were cooked to perfection, unfortunately that was the extent of perfection in the entire meal. The hash browns were obviously frozen before cooking, mushy inside even though they were nice and crispy outside and had no flavor at all. The ham steak was a thin slice of processed (flaked and formed) ham that was so salty it was barely edible. My son ordered the bacon and eggs. His eggs were flavorless, the bacon had been cooked on a griddle after bell pepper and had acquired the flavor, not a good thing for a person who does not like bell pepper. He had the same opinion of the hash browns as I did. The kitchen needs to be educated on portioning. My serving of hash browns was a third the size of my sons serving. The decor was easily the best part of the experience, though the sound level could only be defined as deafeningly loud! I will not be returning to this place.

Discriminating HOSTESS Kristen, supported by Rude Manager Alex. Update: Owner is really kind person. He contacted me and promised to look into the issue personally. I always heard of these stories but never seen discrimination at Restaurant. Waited outside for our turn to be seated for 1 hour but she seated all white people who came after me, and just kept telling me "you are next". I asked for manager, he was not available. Thus had to leave after 1 hour wait HAD TO LEAVE WITHOUT SERVICE or even apology. So I called Restaurant from my cell phone and asked for manager. Manager named ALEX spoke to me and he could hear me till i introduced myself buy as soon as I brought up the hostess issue he said he couldnt hear my voice. Karan

Its complicated. On one hand, food and setting are amazing. I had the apple chicken Benedict and a passion fruit Mimosa, and it was great. The setting is also really nice. On the other hand, I finally got my food 1h after I arrived, after complaining. I want to believe its an isolated mistake, but last week I got it 40min after I arrived. Maybe there is something about a woman eating alone that doesnt compel fast service, or maybe I was just terribly unlucky. Ive decided to trust the latter.

Brilliant place for brunch. We were 4 of us - the waiting was very reasonable on a Sunday afternoon (20 minutes). Great service. Super friendly people. Definitely order at least one plate of their waffles - they are AMAZING! Also have a good collection of cocktails to kick start the Sunday! The crab cakes were a great choice. Had a plate of apple chicken Benedict (not out of the world but was good).. All in all, worth the Sunday trip!

Came here for brunch. Great atmosphere and really great food. The portion sizes were big and there were a lot of options (I wanted to order everything on the menu!) They serve breakfast until 3pm which is awesome. I ordered the Nutella French toast (amazing!) and the table ordered chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict, and the chicken club (everyone said it was delicious). Would definitely come back again!

The booze in the Old Fashioned was sub-par. The Kobe beef burger was overcooked, despite request for rare / medium-rare and the brioche bun looked like it came out of a bag of buns from the grocery store. I tried to let the waitress know, but it was understandably difficult because we were a large party and she was busy. The other brunch items were much better and atmosphere is good.

Good sized portions and well priced. The wait was not even that long even though itr was very busy; less than 20 minutes. Got Eggs Benedict; it was delicious. Also got a passion fruit mimosa which was tasty. My party ordered salads and said it tasted old, but the breakfast food was well done. I would probably go back next time I am in town.

Sunnyvale was in dire need of a new breakfast place! Great vibe to this place, even when its crazy busy. Loved the mimosas and the chilaquiles. Their signature Nutella french toast were ok, but I wouldnt order them again. Take that comment with a grain of salt though because Im not a fan of Nutella. Breakfast portions were huge.

Went at about 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to see they were still serving breakfast. I got the breakfast tostada and it was so much food for $12.50 (and pretty tasty too)! Atmosphere was nice, but it can get real loud real quick. Even so, Im looking forward to going back and trying more of their menu.
