We first went to the bakery while just wondering threw town and the gentleman in there was so nice! so there name came to mind when it was time for a wedding cake a few months later. The cake lady however was not so nice. we went in for cake testing which was a waste of time there were only 3 options vanilla chocolate or carrot. no need to sample. We asked if there was more than the one icing she had on all 3 cup cakes. She said no... a little discouraged we ordered our cake. Price was decent and they deliver. When we came back to pay the rest of our balance 2 weeks before like scheduled and the lady behind the counter was rude and had no idea what she was doing.. She seemed super confused but took our money and scribbled the few notes we had for the cake lady since there had been 0 communications since day one. So a week and a half go by and the cake lady calls 2 days before our wedding asks a few questions tells me she can’t do red icing like our colors (red and purple) red is to hard… fine. We had supplied a few fondant figures we wanted a couple on our cake since she was admit she could not draw anything on our cake but flowers… when we see our cake… first of all it was wrong, we ordered a 3 tier cake top and bottom vanilla middle layer chocolate cake. They were all vanilla… on top of that our cake was so plain it was literally one purple line for each tier and then our fondant guys stuck to it… she literally did nothing… we could of gotten a more creative cake at Albertsons… while delivering the cake she wasn’t even polite… I would highly recommend this bakery if you are not getting a cake made the guy there is awesome and there food is great. The cake lady…. Rude and lazy… just go to Albertsons.

I have been here countless times and I LOVE them! everything Ive had from their ham and cheese biscuit to their maple bars and scones. They even made the 200 petite fours for my wedding and they were perfect. I highly suggest anyone to stop in to this mom and pop bakery for a special treat.

Cute family owned business on the historic part of Monroe. These guys really know their baked goods and you should expect nothing but the highest quality treats. My favorites are the butterhorn or the "pink cookie"
