Imagine, a slow Wednesday night. A half-filled bar and grill. Took around 5 minutes to be seated, even though we were the only ones waiting. Took just as long to get menus and order drinks. My son wanted a philly with no onions or peppers (pretty easy, dont add the veggies while cooking), but the server suggested just getting a roast beef sandwich instead. Ok, sure. Wife and I order, a philly and another roast beef sandwich. Then wait at least thirty minutes while being somewhat ignored and just staring out and the beautiful Seattle skyline view. I ignored many of the reviews saying service was slow, but ordering short order type items, service shouldnt be slow. We gave up and walked out, didnt get to try any food. We got there about 6pm or a bit earlier, walked out at 6:40ish. Drove to another place to eat in Port Orchard instead. If the server would have just said they were behind, or had a new cook, had problems in the kitchen, anything really, we would have been patient. Avoid this place. How amazingly different can standard short order fare be?

I just walked out of there 2min ago. Bc I was standing there for at least 10min with no greeting or offer to help me or anyone saying theyll be right with me. Of the 3 women working there, what I found most rude was when I would give a polite smile they wouldnt even smile back, instead they would look away and go somewhere else. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry even I know that when you only have 4 customers in the building it is easy to make time for 1 more. Maybe you get a lot of disgruntled pregnant women and theres a stigma now. I dont know. But I never said a word I walked out back to the boat on my way to Blake Island to enjoy the rest of my weekend.

This place is our go to, FAVORITE place to dine. The food is always awesome and the soups are spectacular. The wine selection is different and varied every time we come. I enjoy that a lot because I like to try different wines and parings. The service is always fast and friendly. They have a fireplace which is nice and toasty every time we visit. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!

They were short a cook, so maybe they are better normally. The service was slow, beside waiting half an hour for food since they only had 1 cook. The hashbrowns were cold and over peppered, while the eggs had no seasoning at all. The corned beef hash was very yummy though.

There were limited options, but the calamari basket was tasty, though there was not enough tartar sauce. A change in radio station wouldnt hurt, and the service could have been better. All in all it was an ok experience

Great local spot for a cozy meal. Huge fireplace in the main room warms up the winter chill and a covered patio for su.mer evenings. Half a block from a public boat launch and views of Seattle across the sound.

Comfortable Digs. Great crosswater view of Seattle Skyline. Way above average Halibut fish n chips, good slaw. Cowboy Burger is great too. 2nd time in and will return for Halibut plus good service, clean place.

Service is basically non-existent. The food if and when you can actually get someone to take your order is good. Nice selection of beers on tap and the location is awesome however the service SUCKS.
