Yonkers Cafe replaced Sea Biscuit Cafe & Wine Bar, which apparently is a spot where numerous stores have been built and destroyed. After coming here, I can confidently say that the only time Yonkers Cafe will move out is because of the lack of space that it could accommodate its customers. TL;DR version: 1. Good food - get the Yonkers special 2. Great customer service 3. I endorse Yonkers Cafe ATMOSPHERE: This cafe is relatively small. If I could guess the maximum capacity, I would put it between 15-20. Once you enter the cafe, I would say that the vibe is a mood booster. There are booth chairs and booths inside with Wi-Fi so you could do work here! On the side near the door, there are stacks of cups and a container filled with water for self-serve. FOOD & DRINKS: The sandwich that I got was the Yonkers Special, which had pastrami inside of the ciabatta bun. Honestly, I didnt know what pastrami was until my boyfriend told me that it was splendid and that I should try it. Best decision of the day! The Yonkers Special was incredibly flavorful. I requested to have "everything" included. Each ingredient perfectly complemented each other from every bite. I thought I was going to get full from eating the whole sandwich, but in fact, I was still craving more! I tried both their hot and iced coffee which was probably one of the best coffee Ive ever tried. Im not a huge coffee drinker, but Im down to get some from Yonkers. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The definition of superlative customer service can be found here. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by employees here as if I was visiting a friend. I dont know about you, but when employees are smiling when they take my order, it gives me a positive vibe, and the chances of me coming back are higher. One thing that stood out to me for the duration of my visit at Yonkers was Devils Teeth Baking Company, who I would say is their competitor on Noriega Street because of the proximity. Let me tell you that Devils Teeth has nothing on Yonkers. Yes, their breakfast sandwich may be tasty, but Yonkers hands down beats Devils in the atmosphere of their respective restaurants, food & drinks, and most definitely in customer service. Devils Teeths customer service is non-existent. I remember my first visit and thats an ever-lasting impression on a consumer. Would I come back here? Yes! Would I recommend this to friends? Hell yes! My name is AJ Cartas and I approve of this business.

Yonkers Cafe is a cute little cafe serving wine, coffee, and sandwiches. Its located in the same vicinity as Toyose and Devils Teeth but you would never know that it was there unless you walked in. The owners had samples of essentially all their sandwich specials during our event so I was lucky enough to try them all. The Yonkers special is probably my favorite one. Its perfect if you wanted to pick something up to snack on at the beach due to its close proximity. By no means are the sandwiches huge or cheap, but for what its worth theyre piled high and are very delicious. They have a pretty decent wine selections as well. Only got to tried the chardonnay and the rose, but thought it was awesome that they offered wine/beer on top of the fact that they serve bomb sandwiches. Its a small place but they do have a tv playing whatever game is on, free wifi, and a clean bathroom! All in all, this place makes for a great detour if you happen to be in the area!

Rating it as its listed as a wine bar--- dont go here looking for a wine bar! Wines start at $10 a glass, but theres no environment here, and the staff doesnt know about the wines, nor is the selection interesting. Total bust on that end. But deli food is good!!

Yonkers has really solid sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. They also make single cups of coffee --- great if you want a fresh cup at a time. You add the cream and sugar yourself. Pretty cool neighborhood spot near the beach.

Absolutely delicious coffee and fabulous breakfast egg sandwiches on a croissant, bagel or English muffin. Reasonable prices and quick professional service. Way better than Devils teeth and the line is shorter.

Amazing sandwiches! The sandwiches are a little on the enormous side so just get one to split with your friend. Tons of coffee to chose from!! A wait on the weekend is to be expected.

A really nice place. The Golden Gate--and everything else--is stacked with good stuff, and at a really good price. The guy working the counter was great.

This is a local hot spot with great fresh produce, impressive selection of coffee beans that they grind in the store and a good food selection.

Tasty sandwiches that are a oversized. While Devils Teeth is amazing, Yonkers offers faster service while still delivering a great product.
