An update frome two months ago....The only reason this place is getting 3 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the manager ( long blond hair guy) is a terrible server and manager). The kitchen (food) is great. The food is occasionally inconsistent, but almost always great! Skylar is an amazing server and the regular bar tender guy is as well. I found out after 10+ visits that the long hair guy is a manager. ..what? he never knows what beers are on tap ( we have to walk up to the taps to choose ) this has happened 5 or more times. He doesnt act like a manager: forgets things like glasses of water, silverware, and napkins. He also doesnt check back enough on customers, but all the others do. We love this place and frequent often ( we live only 3 blocks away)... just wish they could make the kitchen a little more consistent and replace or retrain the manager. Please go and enjoy the live music, open mic, and or trivia:)

You should definitely go there. Coffee is often good. Sometimes it is uneven though. Depends on who makes it. Sometimes it is just average. The pricing is on the high side, but as opposed to a drive-through you are renting a seat for half an hour, so it is good. Love the deck with view of PSNS even though it is a view of work. Sometimes the tables are sticky. Overall it is a good place to stop for a few minutes, and is probably the nicest sit-in coffee place in Port Orchard. They have recently made the old front door area a storage/cleaning closet kind of area, which detracts from the ambience. Side note: Driving in and out when PSNS worker bees are getting off the boat is risky. They walk right in front of moving cars. Not a comment on the cafe, but relevant.

Its always like coming home when visiting the Whiskey Gulch, even if you are not from around here. Its a step up from the local food , the menu is healthy and well rounded to cater to different choices, from great salads to full healthy sandwichs and delicious deserts. The service is young and layed back, but very attentive and professional. Open mic night brings out local musicians, the talent is well rounded, and amazing. You just never know who will walk in. Thank yo for supporting local musc, its such a gift to the community.

The atmosphere surrounding you and the scenery is absolutely peaceful and beautiful. The food is wonderful and fresh. I love how they set out there bottles of water for you to take to your table. But most of all, their customer service is absolutely fabulous. I recommend anyone and everyone to enjoy all they have to offer. I have been in customer service for over twenty years. Its huge, very important, they have it nailed.

Food was FLAVORLESS! , service horrible. Teens making "panini" had no idea what was even on the sandwiches. Aus jus was nasty, carmelized onions didnt taste right at all. They didnt steep the tea for the iced tea. These girls have no idea what theyre doing. They even forgot the cheese on my so called panini. I will not be coming back, and definitely not be recommending this place.

I have been a Whiskey Gulch customer for a few years now and I have always been a huge fan. The coffee, food, and service is usually wonderful. But recently I have been taking my business elsewhere due to one barista. She is a newer hire and has many tattoos. Her drinks are both inconsistent and not very good. I refuse to order coffee or bar drinks when I see her working.

My friends and I love going here for the great food and atmosphere. The service is a little slower due to a smaller kitchen but worth the wait. We always get friendly servers and trivia on Tuesdays is a ton of fun. The menu online is not up to date but their new dishes are very good. I do wish theyd bring back the short rib because it was delicious on the tacos.

Great atmosphere, beautiful waterfront view, nice large deck. Havent been for drinks yet but coffee is great and so is the food. Spacious and comfortable so youre not crammed together like at Starbucks. Parking can be a little tough sometimes. Only 1 handicap accessible spot.

Had a wonderful lunch today. Mushroom tortellini soup with a Colby sandwich (roast beef with a broth dip). Was hesitant to try the featured pumpkin latte but ended up having two! (4 shot minimum a must.) Added this to my favorites so I will find my way back. Give it a try!

On the water with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Awesome food (have to try the Blackjack sandwich), awesome coffee and awesome service. Relaxing atmosphere with board games available. Very popular with locals, myself included.

Nice view, best location for Retsil veterans home and Annapolis ferry riders. A little bit pricey. This was the last place I had a date, and it was good that I could order beer and she had tea. Lots of cute girls.

Keep changing the menu every time I go there. Was expecting a roast beef sandwich and got a spicy chewed up meat sandwich. Looked like it was already chewed for me. Icky. Best part, watching the eagle up in a tree

Great food, coffee, and beer. The service is great but only from certain people. The service is kinda hit and miss. The drinks are even more expensive than Starbucks a 12oz. mocha breve is 4.80.

I liked it better when it first opened. The food has changed and its so crowded sometimes. But I still give it a 5 because I still love the pace, the atmosphere, and the location.

Tried the Ahi Tuna street tacos, extremely bland, tuna had no flavor, the tortillas were not made out of corn, and they were nothing "street" about them, and the service was slow

The food and beautiful view are both fantastic. They have healthy food for reasonable prices. I love going out every few weeks to watch the sun set over the Sound.

Friendly, attentive service. Great suggestions. The food was really tasty. The views are some of the best in town too! A Port Orchard gem.

Thirty minute wait for a single cup of coffee, when there was only two people ahead of me in line. Not a good first experience for the place.
