Ive gotten sick twice after eating there on separate occasions and from different meals. Ive eaten their food probably 5 different times (twice there and the others take out). Ive also heard of other people eating there and getting sick. Im not trying to shoot this restaurant down. I want it to be good, I want them to succeed, I want there to be restaurants like this on the island but I want them to care & show that they care, & work hard for it. The service was ok but it was almost like we were inconveniencing them and this was a Saturday night 2 hours before they closed with only one 2 top in the restaurant (we were a party of 7). I havent give up giving up on this restaurant completely I will try them again and hopefully I just caught them on a bad day.

I have enjoyed many meals at Basil Cafe and they have been consistently flavorful, fresh and satisfying. I love going to Basil Cafe for a simple lunch or special occasions. We were celebrating something special with friends and booked a Tempinyaki event, it was the best we have ever experienced. The Dim Sum events are a must do; my absolute favorite!!! The price point is very affordable and the menu has something for everyone. ENJOY!!!

Not very good at all. The service, while friendly, was inexplicably slow as there was only one other table occupied at the time. The food was below average. Maybe we were there on a bad night, but the pork in my chow mein was not much more than fat scraps that looked boiled. Apparently other people have had good dining experiences at this restaurant, but I don’t think we will be returning

The house specials are so good I cant turn them down to try other dishes. The atmosphere is unique and during the summer the chef will cook outside for a large party. Never a bad meal.
