Great Casual Mix of Cafe and Bar. Could do your homework here in the day, meet a friend for coffee, or a beer, or stop in for a sandwich. Friendly Staff. Its also a sort of casual freindly genre bending place in that you could either study or meet a group of friends for drinks and I think both would be at home. A cafe,bar,library, with family friendly element as well. Its like an extension of your best friends living room, becuase you dont have to clean up and the bathroom is clean and they (at least on person who inspired this write up did) fill your water glass even though their isnt really table service. Ill agree with a post below that a few details are less than polished, Dear Owners, get rid of the bus stop wall paneling in the bathrooms ASAP. Im a contractor, I can help.

The Yeti was a top notch stout! My favorite part of the experience is the passionate and helpful staff. They truly care about the cafes success and are equally personable and hard working. The interior seems clean and contemporary, but the opening seems rushed and it was hard for me to look past a few unfinished details. You wouldnt expect to see a cool bar in this part of town, but as hipsters and Amazon money pushes north this place will become the norm, and right now its an inspiration for others to risk investing in a similarly classy establishment.

Welcome addition to the junction of Greenwood, Crown Hill and Ballard. As more development creeps up 15th, its good to see thats bringing opportunities for new places like this spot. Therere plentiful beers on tap, espresso in the morning, food trucks on the weekend, and light plates to eat and share. Kids are welcome, the design is quite Danish, and theres plenty of room!

Check out the Thursday night trivia for $3 a person. A scale of difficulty is wide and family friendly. They do a mean $5 grilled cheese, which after a long work day is really all you want anyways, right? Food truck also located outside. Open until 11 and free wifi for all the late night beer + computer work your heart desires.

Probably the best new place in Ballard for drinks. Reminds me of my visits to Denmark, except there is a lot more than just Carlsberg. Great atmosphere and cheerful staff! Ill be visiting there again soon.
