Very busy place, the parking lot was full and inside was somewhat busy. Friendly staff, clean all around and youre able to see the kitchen which is nice. You can order a half or whole sub, a half is about 8 inches which was pretty big. A whole sandwich for most people would be just about 2 meals. The prices are about $5 for a half and $9 for a whole, this is a GREAT value and for this reason its worth checking out for lunch! The subs were good, not great but not garbage. The bread is good, again not great. These are not like subs from the east coast, I live on the east coast and these are not them. The meatball sub was good, the meatballs themselves were pretty tasty, however the sauce taste like canned sauce :( The cold sub was good as well. Id order again from here as the food was good and the price was great. My only complaint was the meatballs were put on the sub whole, so they slide out of the bread as you eat it, wish they were sliced in half to prevent this.

I am a long time fan of Meconis but I was sadly disappointed with this location. I received horrible customer service when I requested to change my order. I had called in an order for a whole chicken breast sandwich by accident when I meant to order half of a chicken and half of a BLT. When I arrived, I promptly told them of my mistake and asked if I could pay the difference between the price of the chicken and the BLT to correct my order. The young lady I spoke with was rude and only gave me short, snooty responses to my polite, reasonable request. She told me that instead of paying the difference, I would have to pay full price for BOTH the BLT and the whole chicken sandwich because "you made the mistake and we already made the sandwich". Needless to say, I will not be going back to this location. It is sad that the hospitality of the Olympia and Lacey locations has not carried over to Hawks Prairie.

I am vegan, I ordered a vegan sub but it came with meat and cheese despite the fact that I specifically told her no meat and cheese on top of the sub being vegan. In the future it would be good to ask your employees if they know what a vegan is. On top of the fact that I would prefer to get to order that I can eat. Thank you for your time.

I told the person at the counter exactly what I wanted on my sandwhich...and I still get just get the normal stuff that comes on the sandwhich as if I never even placed an order. Not the first time this has happened here. Especially a slap in the face when I tipped. Tipping is for excellent service, not subpar. Disappointed.

Good subs, even better chili. Its not as good as it used to be when they had just the Lacey Boulevard location, but still better than the national chains that have invaded Lacey and Olympia. Its expensive though, so be prepared. For two people, youll pay the same for a restaurant with table service.

We literally spent $50 on 2 sandwiches and 2 sides and the sides were not even edible the sandwiches were good but not worth $50 and the lady at the counter got our order wrong and when we tried to correct them when they brought the food pay wanted us to pay more money

What a great sandwich! First time in and I orders the Combo while sandwich and I got way too much.. I have plenty for leftovers later on. The bread is fantastic and fresh.. So much better than Subway. Very fresh vegetables and great meats... Ill be back again

This is only our second visit and we were recognized by staff. The food is delicious and service is quick. This has become a family favorite. Serving sizes are not what your used to at chain sandwich shops, theyre much more generous. Large selection of chips.

Such a good sub place! Not too many other things on the menu but the food is delicious. They are a little obsessed with mozarella cheese, which is my least favorite cheese in the WORLD! Lol but they can sub for other cheese per your request

Has become my addiction! Fresh and delicious, Subway is no comparison! The half is more than enough to satisfy a big appetite and most are less than $5. A great locally owned place, up to 4 locations now. You have to try!
