First, its hard for a "franchise" restaurant to deliver quality, consistently. There are very few that ever succeed and even fewer than can sustain it. Big Fish Grill, in the grand pantheon of franchise restaurants is average at best. Two things make it worth a stop for those who arent too picky and just looking to get filled up: they have a very generous and relatively expansive happy hour menu and the service is very good.

The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and not noisy which was a big plus. It also has a nice location. However both my husband and I were underimpressed with the food. We went there for brunch/lunch. He had the crab eggs benedict and I had the Halibut tacos. Both were rather on the bland side. Service was fine as well, but we probably will not be returning due to the boring food.

I should have heeded the warning of other posters...a complete waste of time and money. The dynamite shrimp was soggy rubber, dont know how, but the crab cakes were salty and bland at the same time, and the fish and chips had no taste at all. I would love to brag about the service, but we could not even get a fly by after another table was seated near us.

A little on the pricey side, but the food was good. The cocktails were also good, and the dessert was ridiculously good. We sat outside but there was an odd smell in the dining area as I walked through it. I would hope that it was a very temporary thing because it was not pleasant.

The fish here tastes amazing. Almost as good as fresh King Salmon I caught in Alaska. Even the kids menus are good here. Trust me. You wont regret it. Its a good place to trick your kids into trying something new. OVERALL AMAZING RESTAURANT.

Great food, great drinks, tasteful atmosphere with a neighborhood feeling. Richard is a fantastic, creative bartender. Gets right every time. Try the Mac and cheese, but substitute blackened chicken for the crab.

I had the shrimp & grits-so delicious! A bit spicy just enough. We had the ceviche appetizer, also fresh and so yummy. Other person at table had mahi tacos that were superb.
