I cant speak to this place outside the context of work happy hours, but Sports Page (aka Googleplex Building 50) is a decent place to get together w/ some colleagues for a pitcher or to watch sports because you live in SF and would otherwise miss half the game due to your commute. The good: - reasonably priced - solid bar food selection - good seating (kind of small inside, especially if you want a table, but they have a big patio with heaters) - pretty large beer selection for as divey as it is - lot of TVs The bad: - FULL of silicon valley employees during the week; most people are still wearing work badges and probably even tried to swipe into the place (we are awkward...) - can get really crowded on Thursdays during Noogler happy hour - the interior is sort of reminiscent from something that would be like on the set of That 70s Show - parking is not great The ugly: - the bathroom (womens at least...) leaves a LOT to be desired

We went here to watch a March Madness Game. First time. This is a good place for a beer but the food was very, VERY bad. We ordered guacamole/salsa, tortilla chips and fish and chips. The guacamole portion was tiny, salsa tasted like coming out from a can. Location is very good, they have their own parking. You can find many Googlers here but for someone that is not close to it, I dont think is worth the drive. We ended up leaving and going to Palo Alto to finish watching the games. Owners should invest in their menu/food/cooks. I would really make a difference.

Sports Page, a.k.a. Googles "Building 50" is a favorite haunt of employees of the aforementioned company given its proximity to the corporate campus. The bar itself is fairly traditional for a sports bar, with big name beers on top, bar food you can order from the kitchen counter, and plenty of TVs. The decor inside is dark and grungy and matches the bars character (i.e. roughly what youd expect for a sports bar). There is a nice, large outdoor beer garden-type space complete with beach volleyball court for patrons to enjoy the California sun with beer in hand.

Sports page is the go-to bar for tech workers in the area to celebrate coworkers, enjoy a beer while watching a game, and relax on the sunny patio. Pitchers are plentiful and so is the outdoor seating. The indoor area with the huge projection screens is dark and small, but the outdoor area is really quite lovely. They have amazing sweet potato fries and an OK veggie burger, but really bad guacamole so dont expect much there. All in all the food is typical bar food and the atmosphere and ability to accommodate large groups is Sports Pages main draw.

I dont understand what people like about this place. Its just another fake pub, with beer and (very) greasy food. Also, car break-ins are common in their parking lot (youd imagine theyd hire some security to give their patrons some piece of mind.) On our last visit, a friend ended up with shards of glass inside his cup (caused by the house over-stacking cups) The result was a serious cut in the mouth with a visit to the hospital. Amazingly, they didnt even offer a discount for this "minor inconvenience". Seriously...

Sports Page is a really cool dive bar, with a great outdoor patio and totally a hidden gem in Mountain View. Inside it is a hole-in-the-wall type of place, it can take a while to get a drink and its dark with no frills, but once you get outside there are lots of tables and things like sand volleyball to keep you there for hours! When I was there in January our group choose to sit outside, which was fine since the heat lamps were blazing.

The inside bar is a hole and it can take awhile to get your drinks, but this dive bar is amazing. A massive patio out back hides behind the unassuming exterior. Lines of wooden picnic tables with umbrellas for shade and heaters for the chill are paired with the volleyball court and pool tables - all outdoors. The place gets packed with tech employees, but is roomy enough to stay a fun meet up spot. The garlic fries are fantastic.

Good spot to grab a drink. Pitchers a on the expensive side but Google is across the street, so it makes sense. The staff is awesome here! Sand volleyball courts out back, trivia night, all sorts of bar events. Haha! *update* I got a burger and fries..made me sick, worst part is I went to the concert feeling terrible. Im sticking to beers in the future, when I come by. (Minuses two stars for the food poisoning.)

The Sports Page is exactly what you want in a dive bar, but bigger, with better alcohol, and a clientele of the Silicon Valley elite. Food is typical bar fare, with Jalapeño poppers made with cheese sauce, calamari rings that bare little resemblance to the aquatic creature from when they came, and more-than-acceptable fries and burgers. Its a great place to watch the Bay Area teams and relax with a beer.

A group of us went here after our conference because it was recommended by a local. We had a great time and sat outside. They had a separate bar outside so you didnt have to keep going back in. They had a beach volleyball court but we didnt play. It was crowded though and looked like anyone could just join the game, no official teams or anything. Variety of drinks and foods. Prices were about average.

I am sure you know what I can be found in the same way that I can be found in the same way that would be interested but the most important thing is that the only way I can be found in the same way that I can be found in det. Sport. I am going to be a member of the new one of my life and work in progress on this page. I am going to be a good time to get the most important to me know that I can be done

Never had a bad time here. The proprietor is extremely sweet and the bartenders are all very friendly. Dont expect to get a fancy sazerac cocktail; do expect to get quick and affordable service from a dude that knows how to make a Cadillac margarita that will have you puking for a whole night all over Stanford. And lets be honest; if youre not puking on Stanford, youre doing it wrong.

Sports Page is an average at best no-frills bar. Packed after work, its difficult to flag down a bartender for anything, even after one believes theyve established a rapport with one. Beers are typical and uninspiring, wines should be avoided. Outdoor seating keeps this place on the map. There is no reason to visit otherwise.

This is a really relaxing dive bar, with cheap drinks, and a wonderful rear patio for outdoor drinking. There is also a volleyball court if you feel inclined to check that out. They have great deals on pitchers, which is great if youll be drinking with friends. Lots of Google employees check this out after work as well.

Decent selection of some great craft beers. I really liked the Bear Republic Racer 5 on tap. Lots of TVs and picnic-style seating make this a fun place to watch sporting events. I was there to cheer on the Penguins on their run at the Stanley Cup and met another guy there doing the same. Good times.
