Let me preface this by saying that I grew up with a palette for Mexican food in the Mission district of SF. I made the mistake of ordering the steak street tacos here. They looked good when they were plated. Unfortunately, they were terribly dry and lacked any taste. In lieu of salsa, they had a little side of black beans with red and green diced bell peppers, and diced onions. I had to use Tabasco instead of hot sauce, and that made it less dry, but then my tacos only tasted like Tabasco, but I really needed flavor. My son liked he kids pizza, and my daughter wasnt too fond of the chicken nuggets. I liked the Mandarin On Fire - I would say that it was pretty good; it could just use a smidge more alcohol than sweet stuff. I believe this was the saving grace for me as it helped me to bump the star up to one more. Next time, maybe Ill read the reviews first, and choose something better from he menu. Its my first time here, and certain items are cooked differently by different people at different times at the day. Lets hope for the best next time.

Dont go here if youre not white. 1 hr to get served by Kelly the overweight bar tender. Granted it was busy, but thats no excuse since everyone else was being served multiple times. Told her that Im about to write a nasty review. Asked if I had to change my color to get served...she said that i asked her to change the tv channel (which i did) and that i should have asked to be served then. And then she accused me of having attiude. And then she called her manager Mary who hastily escorted out by security. They claim that I was being unruly and was only there for half an hour. They have it on "security camera". Interesting I didnt say a word the whole hour. I cant wait to see whats on that security camera. My lawyers going to have a field day with the field house. Needless to say I do have some non white color... Shameful in this day and age....felt like I was in the deep south. Waiting to hear back from Mike the owner, hes employees definitely need some sensitivity training in this all white enclave.

Where do I begin? While our waitress was polite, our food took forever to come. There was a hair in our nachos, and the waitress didnt apologise or anything! I also ordered a pizza, which was bland and kind of greasy. I went inside to ask someone for Parmesean cheese, and ten minutes later, it still hadnt came, so I had to ask another waitress for it, and thankfully, she brought it within the next three minutes. The bill was overpriced for such nasty food. Other people though? Their service was fabulous. Guess you and your friends gotta be white to get gold service there. Suffice to say, there were a few aggrivated words exchanged with manager. My advice to you? Save your money and go someplace else. I enjoy the San Francisco Creamery or Cafe La Scala in Walnut Creek, as well as Tje Yardhouse in San Jose. Its worth the drive, as well as your money and time.

My entire partys food was delivered and consumed, and mine never arrived. I asked the server if my nachos would be up soon, and she said she would check. She returned to say that the kitchen messed up my food, and was re-making it. My friend commented that my food should be discounted, and the server went to get the manager. The abrasive manager told me that she would not be discounting my food since I got it, eventually. Terrible customer service and attitude. Skip this place and go somewhere else. ..where the customer is treated with basic courtesy. By the way...I waited 1.5 hours on a Sunday afternoon, for mediocre nachos.

I went here with my sister after her lacrosse tournament and that was a big mistake. The fondue did not taste like cheese fondue, and the wait times were very long. It was also 53 dollars for nachos, drinks and fondue with garlic breadsticks, which had no garlic on them. The nachos were very soggy and the waitress put water in my sisters soda. Do not waste your time going to this dump.

Great experience at this family owned sports grill and tavern. I went before seeing the new pirates of the Caribbean with my boyfriend, they had our food and drinks out fast and made sure we were doing good. Awesome service.

Used to be good. Now they keep reducing their menu size and upping their prices. I used to really like this place but I think they came under hard times, and are having to make cut back and up prices.
