I recently had brunch at Dinahs with two of my friends. The location was nice, but the service was absolutely terrible. We may as well not have had a waiter at all and it took an hour for our food to come out. By the time it did, my pancakes were mostly cold and not very good. When the check came, we asked for it to be split into two so we could pay on two different cards. They brought our checks back and presented them to us as though this is what had happened, handing us each a check with a card on top of it. We paid and left. Upon checking my account statement later, however, I found that they had charged me for both checks. When I called the restaurant about this, they explained that my friends card had not gone through and our waiter was about to bring everything back to ask what other payment method she wanted to use, when another woman who worked there went ahead and accidentally charged me again. If she truly did not realize her mistake, then it seems weird that what should have been the right cards came to us with the right checks and everything was presented as being completely fine. Dinahs would not do anything for me as my friend has signed her check without checking the credit card number. I realize that this last part was partially our fault, but overall it was an extremely sketchy experience and I will not be returning to Dinahs again.

Great place for brunch. You can side poolside and be surrounded by loads of greens and palm trees. The restaurant is far off the street or any noise which makes it really relaxing and gives it some serious chill vibes. Its a great escape from always busy Silicon Valley. Service is really friendly and works hard to do a good job. During busy hours they just struggle a bit to keep up and it might take a while before they take your order and until food comes out. The food is American and the portions are big. I love how they keep it traditional here and dont seem to add anything artificial as you can really taste the original ingredients. Their food is full of flavor. Its not very unique or special but just really solid food. They dont have espresso drinks but only filter coffee. They freshly squeezed orange juice. This place attracts a rather older crowd.

Wow, what a great find! Over the last few years my girlfriend and I have been to about a dozen different breakfast restaurants in the Mountain View/Palo Alto area, but this one beats them all. The environment is beautiful and was uncrowded when we went (10:30 am on a Sunday). The food was great in every aspect: we ordered the strawberry chocolate crepe and Californian omelette, and both were delicious. Service was courteous and professional, and the coffee was good too. The only downside was that it was about 20% more expensive than most breakfast places in the area, but it was definitely a case of "you get what you pay for." Will definitely be coming back here.

Great little place! Clean big room with great aircon and a really good shower. The pool area is small but very pretty and they have lots of little paths over bridges across the little rivers full of fish which looks spectacular. Prices are good and they have a happy hour from 3pm till 6pm at night. They give free gharadelli chocolates in the room after making the beds and also free apples and light breakfast are available from reception.

Ive been going to Dinahs since it opened in the early 1970s. The food and service have remained first rate for a traditional family diner. Omelets are named after the original customers, or build your own. Pancakes and French Toast are classic - not too heavy, very filling. Try sour cream and ortega chiles in an omelet for something different. My children grew up eating at Dinahs and now take young adult friends there.

Dinahs has been a been breakfast/ brunch location for over a decade. I love this place and the friendly staff. Bring your suit! If its a quiet day, they may let you swim. I havent had dinner here, but I did enjoy Happy Hour for the very first time. Again, just perfect. I work from home and need to work else where, hmmm perhaps my new office too!! Wifi is great here!

Service is always prompt and polite. Food is really delicious. I highly recommend the lamb chops if you are here for dinner. For breakfast, the hashbrowns and the sourdough French toast are sure winners.

Poolside restaurant, ducks and koi fish in the pond, porch on the pond, sound of running water all night, great staff. This is my 20th visit. My favorite hotel in the south bay area.

Great breakfast, not as great lunch and dinner but the atmosphere is really nice. Beware of coming on live music night, as you might have a hard time having a conversation over the music.

The food is simple and reasonably well executed, the location makes this a great option for people staying at the hotel, particularly on the first nights when jetlag is strong.
