Terrible! After having Valentines Day dinner here last year; we were very excited to have it here again. This time we were seated downstairs in the jazz room which was hot and stuffy but the music was pleasant. Being a holiday, we expected it to be busy but with the limited menu and all of the reservations made well in advance; you would think they had plenty of time to prepare, be fully staffed, and being able to handle the demand. We were seated pretty close to the time of our reservation which was a plus. We were seated and then left to sit for 10-15 minutes. Being so excited to be a repeat holiday customer; we had studied the limited menu for a few days prior and knew exactly what we wanted. We ordered an appetizer, salad and bottle of wine. The wine was the first thing to come and it was great. Then we were brought our salads, then the appetizer. Finally, we were offered bread while waiting for our main dish. Main dish arrives and looks great. I had the lobster tail and my husband had the Filet Mignon Medallions. My entire plate was cold. The lobster was over cooked and only a little hotter than room temperature. The rest of the items on the plate were COLD. The Filet Mignon was so rare it was bloody and instead of being Medallions in some special port wine demi glaze; it was a full cut of meat with a little bit of the gorgonzola cheese on it. Our waitress came and asked us how our meal was. I was honest and told her. In which I have a very difficult time doing because I do not like to complain but I felt I needed to say something to bring awareness to the kitchen and hopefully a swift change for the rest of the customers coming in after us. Finally after two hours later; we asked for the check instead of having the free dessert we were offered for the cold food. The chairs were so uncomfortable and it was so hot in the room that we just wanted to get the heck out of there. They were nice and removed $12.00 off of the final bill but I just didnt feel like that was good enough considering I KNOW how good they CAN and HAVE been in the past. So, hence this review....

Ill be honest, Ive been coming here for about 5 years and the food is usually very good. Tonight i brought a couple friends, it was one of their birthdays so wanted to have a good meal.... we were pretty disappointed. The waitress walked by us 3 times and made eye contact with me, but stopped at the table next to us twice in that same time. We werent loud, rude or needy so we were like, maybe she just doesnt like us? We ordered a canolli pollo with a side of the risotto, the fettuccini, and the copper river salmon special. The risotto was so terrible it was chewy with no flavor, we took 2 bites and sent it back. I still was charged 10 dollars for it. The canolli was excellent. My salmon was a bit overcooked and dry but good flavor, and the fettuccini was average fettuccini. We decided that our favorite part of the meal was the fresh bread and sundried tomato garlic butter. All in all, i was unimpressed tonight and a bit let down :( i probably wouldnt bring my company here for a nice dinner again.

This place was okay. We had a meal with 8 for a birthday dinner. I would rate the food to be pretty average except for the bread. My brother got lamb that was undercooked twice and ended up swapping for a steak which meant he didnt eat until we were finishing dessert. I got a flat iron steak special which was pretty good except that the red wine reduction was a thick sauce which Im not sure Ive had before. Great views and atmosphere save this space. We had great service and the server did a fantastic job with us. If this place could bring the quality of food up they would be gold.

Have been getting food since the day they opened, Sometimes 3 or 4 times a week. just called and ordered our food, same thing for 10 years. just got told it will be hour and a half for the food. Your kidding right? You need more drivers or something. your going to lose your definite income (people on the beach). If it takes an hour and a half i wont be calling back. Food is great but we are hungry now, not later. sorry to see that happen. If it takes over an hour( we live 2 minutes away) i am done.

I came here with a group of coworkers and had a surprisingly good meal. The waiter knew the menu like the back of his hand and provided stellar service from start to finish. The mushroom bechamel on toast appetizer was amazing, as were all of the entrees I tasted. Two of my coworkers ordered starter salads (typically boring, right?) but they were thrilled with them. The food was all brought out in a timely but quick fashion and the whole meal left me feeling good, so I will be back for sure!

Mediocre at best. Though the location is lovely and sitting outside on the terrace is highly recommended in nice weather, Ive consistently found their dishes to be overwhelmingly salty. Blech. Seated inside the dining room, the music was too loud and holding pleasant conversation was a bit difficult. Romantic location though, servers are nice enough. Dont care for salty foods that linger in my mouth after the meal though. Not to mention the cravings for water long after...

I read all the reviews here and every single one was correct. Food was great, but overpriced. View absolutely fantastic. Service was good, for the most part. They REALLY need to do something about the acoustics as the noise was unbearable! We met another couple for a celebratory dinner and we couldnt understand what the person across the table was saying. And I had the Eggplant Parmigiana mainly because another person recommended it, and it WAS wonderful!!

The lasagna is the most amazing thing ever. Treat yoself and try it. Really, everything is delicious here. Its high quality dining with superb ingredients, and you can also enjoy great views with your meal. I really enjoyed every course, from appetizer to dessert, and our server was animated and so accommodating. Its a bit of a spendy place, so for me its for special occasions only, but you sure do get what you pay for! I look forward to going back.

Great view! It will take your breath away. The stromboli is excellent! Unlike another review, the bread was fine the few times I have dined there. The service was fine too. Unfortunately, the caesar salad has come to the table with lettuce that did not seem very fresh and had some discoloration (redness). I am a stickler about the lettuce, but I would still go back for the view and the stromboli.

ive been to this restaurant a few times now...and surprisingly everytime i have the same waiter! older man with glasses, anyway, i think they need more of a turn over in employees because this waiter makes me never want to come back! He is extremely severe and "snappy." Other than that...the place is great! Food is absolutely AMAZING...just wish it was being brought to us by someone more friendly!
