Posting 1/4/2015: ***UPDATE*** Back to 4 stars a couple weeks ago my roommate let me know he received a HANDWRITTEN (a round of applause, this is old school customer service) note from the owner apologizing for everything he went thru and the slow reaction and also left a gift cert for him to use. THANK YOU SUB ZERO. It may have been slow BUT better later than never I guess. I appreciate you "making the situation right". I can now support you and continue to send business your way. Once again THANK YOU! ____________________________________________________________________ Posted 11/18/2014: 1 STAR First off Id like to say that I like this place and would normally give it 5 starts. I think its different and fun to take people to who have never been. I have brought a lot of business to this place. SO I can say I was shocked and upset when I heard what I heard from my roommate. So upset to the point I had to wait a week to finally try and contact someone in regards to this issue. ONE STAR RATING BECAUSE OF THIS: ONE WEEK AGO ON VETERANS DAY....my roommate (a veteran) wanted something sweet and headed to your establishment. It was maybe 930pm-935pm (Note: everywhere lists that your establishment closes 10pm Tuesdays). When my roommate got to your establishment he saw a younger blonde kid mopping the floor. My roommate tried to open the door to the supposed open establishment and couldnt open the doors because they were locked. The young kid came up to the doors and said "Sorry, we closed early for Veterans Day". My roommate looked and saw no sign stating an early closing and told the young kid "Im a veteran". The young kid said "sorry" and went back to mopping. My roommate stood there for a moment shocked, and walked back to his car disappointed. A few days later my roommate came back to your establishment wanting to talk to someone about the above incident because I kept bugging him to do so. (I personally do not tolerate poor customer service). This time around he saw an Asian kid (who weve always had AMAZING customer service with...even on busy days where hes short handed and the people who are off put an apron on to help him because theres such a huge line - he deserves a raise...and so do the two ladies who jumped in to help him that one day recently) and told him what happened. The Asian kid was very apologetic and told my roommate that the store did not close early on Veterans Day. He gave my roommate a couple of cards for compensation and told him he would talk to his manager/owner and have the manager/owner call him to talk about what happened and to assure him this would never happen again to anyone especially a Vet. So far...NO CALL.

This place is quite the experience, with a huge selection of flavors and mix ins. I enjoy taking a small trip to here once and a while, but sadly thats what it is - a trip. This place is really in the middle of nowhere and i wish they would open a branch in the Seattle area. That being said, the treats are nice, but sometimes hit and miss. I had some less fruit flavors and they were pretty good, but the fruit ones were a bit bland - feels a bit like quantity over quality with some. Lastly, they need another register, this has not been a hop in and out place, its always show and takes a while to get up to the front and make a selection. Definitely take a peek inside and order if not solely for the experience of nitrogen ice cream.

I think it is very unprofessional of a business to not update their address information correctly with google maps. Or at least take the time to mention it somewhere that the wrong address is listed because I drove out of my way an hour to come check this place out only not find them! Then by the time they directed us to the correct address it was too close to closing time. All that confusion just because you didnt take the time to have the proper google information listed, and not off by a little its off by a lot! Theyre closed on Sundays too, which makes it even harder to come check this place out. Consider being open all weekend? You are an ice cream place after all, that most people would visit on a Saturday OR Sunday.

They have multiple lactose free options. I had peanut butter and caramel with pecans. It was spectacular! This is the best ice cream shop Ive ever been to. Plus the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend a visit. **Just returned two and a half years later (were from Arizona, but I wanted to drop by this visit). The novelty of liquid nitrogen cooled ice cream hasnt warn off. The ice cream is just as good! The owner and his staff are just as friendly and helpful. They even shared some great recommendations for our visit. Jack Walsh and team are still #1!

I went to get ice cream here with my dad after a long day of State testing at school . I had ordered brain freeze and after eating less than ten SMALL bites as recommended I lost feeling in the tip of my tongue . I also have cuts on the insides of my cheeks and on my tounge . My spoon had blood on it after a few bites . I will never go here again . I am still not able to feel my tongue after almost 12 hours ! I highly recommend not letting you kids eat brain freeze.

The best ice cream in the Seattle area! We absolutely love this place! We went there tonight with our friends and had a great time. The owner came out and sat and talked with us awhile too. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoy the large selection of flavors and options they have...you have never seen anything like this place. We also enjoy the fact that they offer a lactose-free option (that is very yummy) and also many gluten-free options.

I wish I could rate there ice cream but I left right after the girl behind the counter gave me a very unfriendly look and stare. Also forgive me if im asking to much but shouldnt people working in customer service greet people. Anyways a friendly smile goes a long way especially when people are coming to spend money. Ive learned to pass when it comes to poor customer service especially if I worked hard for my money!

Bright atmosphere with a clever chemistry theme. Watch in amazement as they flash-freeze your ice cream with liquid nitrogen right in front of you! Every ice cream is made to order. You can customize everything from the cream to the flavor, to the mix-in, even how firm you like your ice cream! They even have options for the lactose-intolerant, siliac, and sugar-averse alike. Delicious. Absolutely a superior product.

Awesome place with the best ice cream youll every try always busy. 5 star rating for the shop but one employee here should be fired for the way she handled a very busy situation when there was a huge line and a coworker asked her to help but she told him no and didnt care at all just because she was sitting here running her mouth with friends on her "lunch break"...
