I was on a research trip through central Washington last week and wanted to see Cle Elum... great little town, absolutely charming and we stopped by this bakery. LOVED IT. First, the girls behind the counter were delightful, the smells alone were marvelous, and I bought a maple bar (which is now going in a book!!!), a cinnamon crunch donut (amazing!) and several different cookies to sample. Im a baker and a writer so for me to love each selection is unusual... but I did! Thank you Cle Elum Bakery for your goods, your service and those happy smiles! You gave me the best road food I found in Central Washington that day!

I have been stopping at the Cle Elum bakery for the last 10 years. and always looked forward to it. Unfortunately now it is Just Okay, but maybe we will not stop in future. The pastries are flat, and the apple fritters are kind of greasy tasting and the cinamon crisp is...well not crisp. Hopefully this is a temporary situation and not the direction this landmark is headed.... The help needs to go to a hospitality seminar or training, they were unfriendly and acted as if we were interupting their day.

Ive been going to the Cle Elum Bakery since the early 1980s. Their maple bars are my favorite, as well as the cinnamon rolls with maple frosting. Their bread is good too, and they have a bunch of local products, such as honey and jams. I like to stop on my way through town, or on the way to our cabin, to re-fuel with some good coffee and buy breakfast goods for the next day. Every time Ive visited in recent years, the place is packed, and the employees have always been friendly. I love this place!

When u walk in it smells great u would think the food would taste great too but no not that great and the girls working there where very very rude like it was a hassle for us to be in there well excuse me for coming in to ur store to get something to eat I wont be doing that again they need to learn some customer service skills we go to cle elum a few times a year for the past 20 yrs never ever had anyone there treat me or my family like that

This local bakery has lots of charm and yummy traditional baked goods. Quiche comes in several flavors, $4/slice. They have a vegetarian version. Great cinnamon rolls, butterhorns, donuts and bread. Solid espresso, reasonably priced. A 16 oz Cafe Vita drip is $2.20, 16 oz latte $3.75.

Been stopping here for at least a half-century. Breads were always fantastic until a few years ago. Disappointing that they have lost their once wonderful reputation. They can get it back, but they will have to work on their recipes and their staff, including the sales clerks.

Love this bakery! It is always a must to stop here on our trips to central and eastern Washington. Delicious baked goods and a fine assortment of local food gifts. We never pass up their cinnamon rolls! The adjacent Bakery House serves delicious lunches.

Always a nice place to stop on the trip from Seattle to Yakima. Great cinnamon rolls! Stop some place else first if you need to use the restroom. They just have a porta-potty.
