I commend Eat Local for opening a branch in Burien, tree city. The eat local movement needs physical places like this. In response to the previous reviewer, kiss off. Do you know how much gumption it takes to bring a business that speaks to the reality of local food to a place like Burien, which is the low-income sister suburb to Seattle? So, maybe they have some growing pains to get through.Your contention that you dont know where the food comes from--have you read the labels on their food? What other information are you looking for? They do name the farms where ingredients come from, and food, according to label, is cooked in-house. Im open to a debate on this, but dont cast aspersions on a small business trying to make it against big-agro without valid arguments and facts. Lets open the conversation--discuss.

Attended my first pasta making class the instructor did an excellent job of explaining the process as well as assisting the students as they created their own pasta. The sampling food was fun and I actually purchased one of the samples to go along with my homemade pasta for dinner. The staff was pleasant , and the class area was sufficient in space and easy to see the instructor. The store was clean and well-organized. Would definitely take an additional class or two should one come up. This was a Groupon offer.

This is great food for those with busy lives that want to eat well. It is chef designed meals, frozen, for convenience. Every meal Ive had has been fantastic. My favorite are the middle Eastern lamb koftkas. They deliver for a fee. In general I find that the price is worth it; the cost is about The same as a fast food meal but the quality and nutrition are so much better you cant compare them.

The food may be ok but the place has no soul. Cryogenic food. All frozen and locally made but where do the ingredients come from?? I suspect that you as a food producer can sell them your goods and they put their label on it. Questions to the owner went no-where. Very vague response. Save your money $$$$ and go to a place that prepares your food on site.

Really enjoyed learning how to make pasta from scratch. Class was well organized, during the class we had opportunity to try different flavor of food, which for sale.
