went here on my first visit to Portland. Its not far out of the city centre by public transport, theres a large covered area to keep off the all too frequent rain and the food is superb. I have only had a tri tip steak sandwich so far but I definitely plan on going back and trying some of the other things on offer. It was one of the best things Ive ever put in my mouth. The chef was a little curt, but I think that was down to pressure of work. He had a substantial queue and was working furiously hard. The next clear day I am in Portland nothing is going to stop me going back. Edited to add. Ive been back several times since and my opinion hasnt changed at all. My only additional comment is how much of a bargain it is at under ten dollars. Wonderful food.

We biked down here and passed the main food trucks, past the lair of sub par eateries and delved into the ripe underbelly of the Portland food truck scene. Or trek was worth every mile as we caught the delicious scent of our prey and pulled in to the tiny alcove. A hooded monk scratched our orders into a sandstone tablet, and after a short time reflecting on the feast we were about to consume, the holy steak was rendered forth. Untouched by human hands, the steak salad cured a passing young boy of cancer as I consumed it. I will eat here daily, and become a living god.

Calling all carnivores, drop that carcass youre gnawing on and scramble, slither, or swoop over to the new Rip City Grill location for the best in deliciously charred meats. One of my top five fave for eats among food carts now has a sit down spot and its incredible! Broader menu, same amazing flavor. Try out the jalapeño poppers and the Tri-Tip chorizo chili. Also the amazing sandwiches that started the madness are a must try. Enjoy, your mouth hole will thank you.

Greatest cart based meat purveyor in town. PERIOD. Now with a brick and mortar location at 60th and Division, you cant tell the difference between the cart food, which was stellar, and the store front, which was just as good!! Way to go Clint!!! Such an awesome place with a great vibe and even better food.

Happy hour pricing is absolutely phenomenal! Had the burger two different ways on two occasions, both were great, and a pint too for under $10 jeezus. No happy hour on weekends is my only gripe, but they gotta make money! Luckily, the tri tip sammich is good enough to warrant toddler kicking.

Some of the best food in Southeast Portland (though theres a lot of really stinking good food in Southeast Portland). This restaurant has a fun atmosphere and great staff, along with great beer and food. A Portlandian couldnt ask for more.

This place is legit. Clint is a master at grilling and cooking the best food. I havent had one thing on the menu that has been mediocre. Its all fantastic. My go to is the chicken sandwich. Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.
