Great food and always exceptional service from the first min it opened, up until 2 weeks ago... Went out to lunch with family as usual, we like to shake things up so we went here, hadnt been in a month or 2, upon entering we were not greeted by a server, no, we were greeted by some customers eagerly waiting for food, they informed us that we could sit where we wanted, this would be understandable if there were many customers, not two people eating and the regulars at the bar, as soon as we sat down, the only server working came and gave us menus, we asked why there was no one to seat us, BIG mistake, we got a full serving of everyday life problems, yes I know everyone has those days, heck I myself have these, but act professional take a break and get something to drink. Being good guests we listened and gave advice, but this server threw it right back up in our face, after ordering our food we waited an expected amount of time for great food, which I LOVE! In all Good servers=happy customers, bad servers=a less enjoyable experience, will be seeing you soon and looking forward to it!

Been going there for a long time. Best Asian fusion restaurant in the area. Although lacking in take out/ delivery service, the dine in experience makes up for any shortcomings. Prompt wait staff and a great bartender if you looking for Saki or any other Asian or American beverage. I havent tried the sushi bar though, but I hear its good from friends that enjoy that sort of thing. A couple of quick notes though, if you want your meal to be spicy be sure to ask. Also if you dont see something that your looking for they can create something for you depending on availability of supplies. Summary: -Great food -Great service -Easy to read menu -Decent decor, could use some updating -Nice outside eating area available night and day -Fair pricing -Full Alcohol bar, Asian and American alike

From the contemporary design style inside, the hostess thats quick to seat you in your preferred booth or table, the sushi, the vast menu, yummy food, the servers.... They all combine to be a great find in Winchester. The owner is kind and generous and eager to make you enjoy your visit and come back again. This restaurant reminds me of the mom and pop places we used to have around. The kind that honors the customer. If you cant eat in, the take out service is great. They never forget a thing. They also have a full bar with happy hour specials and credible bartenders. The relaxed environment with the TVs and locals are a hit with me. Good Job Mimosa in Winchester!! From a loyal customer.

Asion fusion. Management has changed hands a few times and it shows. Good menu and sushi options. The wait staff could be more effecient and intuitive. They are friendly but couldb be a bit more polished for what this resturant has the potential to be. Food used to be so awesome but has declined a bit in the quality, but still better then your run of the mill Chinese take-out. Thw appearance looks like it needs a little vamping up. The aquarium is awesome though! Overall a nice place to get your asian food fix but I hope they decide to kick up their game and meet the awesome potential they could be.

We tried three items from the lunch special menu. I had Pork Lo Mein it was pretty good but a little bit sweet I would order it again. My wife tried the Spicy Thai Basil Tofu, it was very interesting but too sweet for her. (She is diabetic) We also ordered the Beef Chop Suey, the meat was very tender and overall this was probably the best item we ordered. This was an interesting lunch special they didnt give you extra items with it but the entree portions size was really good and we felt full when we left. We were seated quickly and we received excellent service while we were there.

Being a little nervous about eating sushi in Virginia, being from Los Angeles, I have to say, not bad. Ate alone at the bar and the bartender was great. Hot and sour soup was awesome, salad with ginger dressing was terrible, but who cares about salad, and the two sushi rolls were right on! The complementary chips and salsa was by far the best I have ever had. I noticed a few groups were angry for the long wait, but if I were in L.A., Id wait an hour for a table. My bill was $23 with two beers. I tipped $8 and will definitely will return with the family.

Being that Im no longer local to the area, I can only tell you how much I truly miss this restaurant and their sushi. I have YET to find a restaurant that serves sushi to my liking enough for me to feel like it could replace my favorite sushi place in Winchester. Ill be honest, the service isnt always fantastic but everyone is typically friendly enough and the place is clean. The sushi chef is wonderful and his sushi is definitely top notch. Also, my friends enjoy the Chinese and other Asian cuisine here as well if sushi isnt your thing!

I have eaten at Mimosa many times, and have always been more than satisfied with their food. Portion size is more than adequate, and everything I have tried there tastes fantastic. They have such a wide range of dishes it will take quite a long time to try them all. I have taken my 3 kids there, and they love the food there as well. The ambiance is nice, and the staff is very friendly. You just cant beat the value at lunch time, either; for the price of a value meal at any fast food place, you can get a much tastier and filling lunch.

Between here and Thai Winchester they have the best Asian food in the area. Its hard to pick one because both have their advantages. Its a little more affordable here too. The two dishes I only get here are the Mongolian BBQ Beef and the General Tsos Tofu but all the dishes Ive had have been good. I havent had sushi here in awhile but it was as good as any in Winchester last time I did. If this restaurant ever struggles itll only be because of location.

Food was fantastic however it was not what was on the menu. The menu has filet shrimp tempura lo mein noodles with steamed broccoli and brown sauce however when we got at the shrimp was not there. When we asked about it apparently the cook said no no more shrimp and that was that...the server attempted to contact someone named John for a price adjustment however they just dropped the bill at full price.

Mimosa is an excellent place to have a nice meal with the family. They have very good Asian food. There is even a sushi bar! The restaurant has a long fish-tank separating the bar from the eating area. This is a place where you can bring your kids and not worry about anything. On Thursdays at 7 there is an open mic which attracts musicians from all over the area. Its a great place to meet new friends.

Been eating from Mimosa since it opened. At first it was awesome, great food. Then after awhile it was horrible. We dont eat here as often as we use to, because now the food is excellent sometimes and awful other times, too unpredictable. Perhaps Mimosa has changed ownership/management or changed cooks periodically, just seems unpredictable. I would rate Mimosa ⭐⭐ to
