I contacted this restaurant because we were planning to celebrate a milestone birthday, for family, a couple of years ago. I discovered the restaurant, via their web site, after doing an internet search for the Goochland area. The restaurant is relatively new and I really like the name of the restaurant, too (sounded good on the invitations we mailed to guests). Since the majority of our relatives live close to Goochland (particularly the older ones), we decided to have it there, versus Richmond, to accommodate them and also so most relatives could easily attend. I was concerned as to whether or not I would find a suitable restaurant which was very nice and offered the amount of space we needed. I was delighted when I saw Bella Sicilia had a separate banquet room which was private, spacious enough and has nice decor. Their website looks really good and details their menu options. The menu items are very reasonable and the food was very tasty. Since the pictures, on their website, were really good, I did not have to make a trip down there (which is a couple of hours from my house) to check it out before making the reservation. The owner/manager (SALVO) was great to work with from beginning to end. We simply reserved the banquet room through him (no down payments, etc. was required which was a huge plus) and decided upon which four menu items we wanted to select for our guests to choose from (they also offer gluten-free dishes). The waitresses were friendly and attentive. They brought out the four menu options, on paper, so each guest could select which one they wanted along with their soft drink. We were able to come in a couple of hours before they opened (the celebration started at 12:00 PM Noon) and decorate the room with birthday decorations. They also allowed us to leave the birthday cake with them, in their kitchen, while we decorated. There was no additional fee to bring the cake in or for the use of their dishes, forks and cake cutting knife. The fee, for the banquet room, was reasonable (only around $45.00) when you consider each meal was only $13.00 per person (which includes a soft drink beverage, tax & tip/gratuity). There is ample free parking, at the restaurant, and the area its located in is well-maintained. All of the guests told us they really had a great time and Bella Sicilia was a great choice for the birthday celebration in Goochland. A million thanks to SALVO and his staff at Bella Sicilia!

The staff, at Bella Sicilia, are as friendly as they can be and the food is simply great. The White Pizza is especially good and they have a Vodka Lasagna which gets me almost every time. The cost is a bit more than I like to pay but, I confess, I am a cheapskate so this may not be an issue for many. This place is so good I manage to bite the bullet and slide in there about once a week or so anyway. Very nice for little Goochland.

We have been to this excellent restaurant several times. The food is prepared fresh and they have an excellent linguine with white clam sauce. Their spaghetti with meat sauce is wonderful as well. The prices are excellent. This is not a large establishment and they do take reservations. Francesca, the owner, is always happy to see you! Thanks for coming to the Goochland area! My family and I love this place. We are treated like family every time. The food is delicious! You must try the ice cream!! The kitchen is visible so all guest can see the cleanliness of the facility! We eat here about once a week sometimes more when my wife gets a night off. We wouldnt go anywhere else. We know we will be treated very well here! We love the owner and all his friendly, efficient staff.

I have been a customer for a year now, both dine-in and carry out. The reliability of the quality is steadily decreasing. With my last order, my usual pizza order, last week, the cheese was obviously a cheap brand and skimpy (I even paid for extra cheese), the other ingredients were a bit stingy, and the crust was not thoroughly cooked. I was very disappointed. I do not plan to return.

Their hot sandwiches and pizza are delicious. I havent tried anything else on their menu, but Ive heard from friends that its top notch! Plus, whats great, is that they offer a yummy ice cream selection. The only reason they dont get a 5 star rating is their lack of, or rather, no outdoor seating. It would be nice to have a quaint outdoor area to enjoy meals under the stars.

Went for Dinner last night 2/13. Expect Italian to have good or robust flavor...I had lasagna, wife had tortellini in Alfredo sauce both had literally no flavor, totally bland, washed out taste. No garlic, oregano or any other Italian spices or flavor....Would not recommend, as far from what Italian food should taste like as have ever had.

They are very generous with the portion size. However, if taste is important to you, you may want to avoid this restaurant. The server was more bothered than accommodating. Im a huge lover of Italian cuisine & a supporter of family owned/small businesses because of the personal care/touch. Unfortunately, Bella Sicilia was a disappointment.

They have great service, their food is amazing, and their ice cream is absolutely amazing plus they will do whatever they can to please you and the place is beautiful inside!!! I recommend this place to everyone who likes Italian and loves ice cream!

Eat here all the time one of my absolute favorite places. Food is always fresh and hot and prices arent bad. You get a lot of food and its a good place. We usually get carry out service but we still enjoy it as if we are inside of the restaurant.

This is a great place to get authentic Italian food. We tried it out one evening for pizza and were blown away to see cannoli on the menu. Their food is absolutely fantastic.
