We did a reservation a week in advance. The resturant has a very clean decor, seating is awesome, very private almost to each individual table. Dress attire is casual. Men in button down and dockers the women in dress, certainly no jeans, halters or flip flops. The food to die for! We started with the tuna tar tar and sushimi. Highly recommend. Done perfectly with a hint of ginger. The way it was served for the two of us was quit odd. The food put in front of me for us to share? I would prefer that it was put in the middle and then we share from there. Since it was put in front of me I felt like I was hoarding it. The bread served warm with fresh butter. I could of eaten the butter all by itself it was so good. Then the main course. I had the duck and my husband had the steak and lobster. Of course he let me taste his meal. The lobster, mmmm done to perfection, I find that lobster is easily over cooked so many times, but the chef had this one dead on. His steak was cooked delicious enough to melt in your mouth. The bed of potatoes were sliced sliver thin and just a crisped on the edges. Spinach could of done without its steams but good non the less. My duck fillet was done medium over sliver potatoes with brown sauce. The brown sauce seemed to be the flavor then the taste of duck floated in shortly afterways. Dessert we had the chocolate dessert and creme bruleat. Chocolate was a bit heavy and creme buleat was cold and lightly crusted sugar on top both very tasty. The manager and wait staff were very attentive. All and all very fantastic. The dinner was over very delcious and will be coming back soon.

We have been going to Le Yaca since it first opened in the Kingsmill shops many years ago so we were excited about our first visit to its new location on High Street. The décor and ambience while less cozy than its previous location are upscale and sophisticated. The food is still melt in your mouth and excellent. We were, however, disappointed in the service. Our orders were delivered after another table that arrived after us (both tables were a party of six). There was confusion by the wait staff about which table our food belonged and when it was finally resolved and served the food was no longer hot. We decided not to send it back because of the wait and we were hungry. The owner came to our table to express concern and offered us complimentary desserts for our inconvenience. We will definitely return for a second try because the food is awesome. We can only hope that the service will ultimately return to its A+ rating with time in the new and larger location.

My waiter was excellent, but his helper needs more training. His helper brought me the wrong appetizer. The warm french bread was excellent. The Lobster Bisque was better than excellent. The crab stuffed Crepe was very good and the chocolate truffle was excellent. Overall a very good lunch experience. Im looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks for my Birthday Dinner.I would highly recommend the special lunch deal.Their prices are very good and the quality of their food is excellent. Dinner visit on 03/31/14--Every part of the meal tonightv was excellent. Our waiter and his helpers were excellent. The French Onion soup was the best I have ever had anywhere. The steak was the perfect temperature. The Creme Brulee was excellent. The extra touch of the chocolate Happy Birthday garnish was empressive and very thoughtful since tonight is my Birthday.Ill be returning again to try more of their outstanding food.

This place was amazing, beautiful and clean. My waitress was friend and because it was our first time we asked her for suggestions and her suggestions did not fail. Ever new course we got was better then the last. It was so good that before we left we made reservations for Valentines Day in 5 months. The price was not bad for a 3 course French dinner. They will be seeing us again!!!! Wait keep reading!!!!! So after I made my reservation in September I now get a call that I have to put down a 100 deposit..... why was I not told this in September the hostess tells me some story how the deposit price changes uhhhhh my point was Valentines Day is the same day every year when I made the reservation it was the hostess job to tell me there will be a deposit and they would call me cause then I wouldnt have made the reservation at all!!!! Now I have to find some where to go. Thanks for the last min call!!!!

One of the best French style restaurants in Williamsburg. Fabulous food combined with reasonably priced wines by glass or bottle and wonderful atmosphere. Bar menu available from 5 - 7 PM most days is a bargain. A number of name brand liquors and good value wines are $5.00 per drink. Desserts are to die for. Service is friendly and competent with the exception of the male manager / owner? who should at least greet regulars and others but struts around like the restaurant. Lunch prices are also a bargain for the quality of food. We are Williamsburg residents and highly recommend the restaurant to both locals and visitors. Thursday nights they cook lamb on an open flame spit. You cant lose.

I usually never write food reviews but I had to give well deserved positive feed back after the experience. Had the fennel soup, sea bass/risotto, and the apple tart for desert, my friend had lobster and a chocolate souffle . The drinks were nice, both deserts were extremely well executed. The food was really really good especially the soup, seafood, and desert. I had heard good reviews but so far have not been extremely impressed with Williamsburg cuisine. It was really tasty, well balanced, well thought out food and the service was really friendly and relaxed.

Back up to full speed, maybe even better than its best days of yesteryear when we first went there. This is unquestionably the "finest" of the fine dining experiences in a town that has a decent number of them. You cant go wrong with anything on the menu but the dishes are a good size, none of that "nouvelle cuisine" nonsense. Saving room for the Grand Marnier souffle will be very difficult to do but you need to do so, as it is executed as well as youll ever find. Its not cheap but you wont regret a penny of it.

The meal, drinks and wine were excellent and worth every penny! However, our server was not too attentive. After we were seated, we waited 25 minutes before our server took our order. Other waiters were busy about and serving their customers. We had to ask one of the other servers to get our server to come to our tableto take our order. I suspect the restsurnpant had the server working behind the bar as well as waiting tables during the dinner hour. Le Yaca needs to make sure that service is standard.

I had a lovely dinning experience at Le Yaca French Restaurant. Sky Deluca was an amazing waiter and his personality was very refreshing. My friend and I came to Williamsburg, VA to enjoy the city and we had a fabulous time. I would definitely come back to this restaurant in November, when I come back with my sisters and step mom. The restaurants decor is beautiful and the food was fresh and delicious. Thanks to Sky and the other waiters there, we had a GREAT EXPERIENCE.
