Im not sure if this is a fair review because my friend and I basically had their appetizers only. That does not mean that we only ordered one. We order at least 3/4 of what is available. No shame in our game. This place use to be Feast which unfortunately, I was not able to try. Moving on, this is what we ordered: - Clam Chowder (Pretty flavorful and creamy, 2nd favorite dish of the night) - Pate du Chef (they used duck and pork liver, but im use to a creamy consistency where it is easy to spread, but this one is too chunky) - Medaillon de Foie Gras Masion (creamy texture, paired well with terrine, the confit provided a nice break from the fattiness from foie gras) - Escargots a la Bouguignonne (really good texture, but the flavors did not merry well with the escargots. By added too much flavor, it proved to be too much for the dish. If it was just salt, pepper, and lemon = perfection) - Moules Farcies Setoise (favorite dish of the night by my friends and I, Not over cooked and therefore not chewy. Garlic, parsley, and butter mussels are good anytime anywhere) I reserved a table on opentable at 7:30PM for 4 on a Sunday. I am not impressed with the courtesy with the hostess. She was not really friendly or appreciate our business. She expected that we will be typically college kids who is trying to fine dine, but resorted to this place. Theres an upstairs which I believe that is where the bathroom is. There is one chef, one hostess (also semi-server), and a server. They all spoke French and it made it feel as if it was authentic. The high tables were usually for 2 was pushed together for us and the usual spot where they put the tables is awkward. They were at the center of the room. Server is quite busy with what tables she had and hostess was quite pushy trying to get us out. The entrees look like substantial sizes for about $20+ but I do not care to come back. Foie Gras breakfast at Triniti blows this places foie gras out of the water. Parking is valet and complimentary. Parking at this place is really, really limited so valet is a must. Food is overall decent, but I probably wont go back.

WOW! Everything on the menu was so savory and full of flavor. Ill start from the beginning though. I arrived on a Thursday night and the place was mostly empty. There was one other couple in the restaurant and I instantly felt as if I should be very quiet. I was greeted by a lovely young lady that escorted me to a table and provided me with water while I waited for the rest of my party. Once everyone was there, she came back by to take drink orders and present the specials. Everything sounded lovely, but I had already set my mind on the trout from the main menu. My friend and I started with the Foi Gras. Now, there is more than one to choose from, and we really didnt know which one to order. We settled on one that was similar to a pate, and it was a bit different, but still delicious. It had an interesting citrus flavor to it. Next up...entrees! I order the trout which I thought was going to be a filet, but it was a souffle. Piping hot and bursting with flavor. An absolute party for my mouth. My friend ordered the duck confit and I the aroma alone was inviting. One bite and I was in heaven! We didnt have time for dessert, but its certainly on my list for next time. I cant wait to try the cassoulet and the mussels. Ill be back and very soon!

Solid French Bistro style of food. European style service, you will be there for awhile, but you will dine. The menu has many classic French recipes. I had their duck confit, and it was nothing short of amazing. Well seasoned, and it was served with a wine reduction sauce and many roasted vegetables. The wine menu isnt large, but the selections are moderately priced and they can give you recommendations based upon what you order. Loved the French music playing in the background, the place is wonderfully quaint. The food is quite good, all three courses that were served were quite good. I had a salmon appetizer, and it was finished with a generous portion of chocolate mousse. This is a definite must stop at place if you enjoy French food.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Counter to what the newest places are trying to do (with varying quality), the food at Georges Bistro isnt really modern. This is classic French food with fresh ingredients - and everything is outstanding. Truly excellent food in a place run by excellent folks, in a comfortable setting. Considering stopping by for their three course lunch as well. I had duck pate (they offered extra bread for me), beef stew, and lavender creme brulee. My wife had the "Maussane" salad, the fish of the day (trout?), and the bouche noelle. Everything was just perfect.

What a great place to visit and eat. This place completely reminded me of the small, privately owned, family run restaurants that my friend and I ate at on my last visits to the south of France. there is So much flavor and care put into the food that it really made me feel that I was back in Vestric-Et-Candiac or Agues Mortes in France. My friend from Montpelier also loved it and said it reminded her of being back home. I have yet to try their Foie Gras and their cassoulets but I am looking forward to it. try THIS place and enjoy it with a fine wine from their menu. Thanks!

I had the snapper fish entree with vegetables and rice pilaf. Everything was cooked just right and tasted amazing, especially the sauce for the fish, and the desert we had was perfect. It took a while for them to make our food. (35 minutes in a sort of empty day.) The staff were nice and friendly. Will come again!

I am thrilled that Georges Bistro has re-opened. The new management has built a covered patio and the setting is really nice. I had the chicken panini sandwich and it was really good. Definitely top ten sandwiches in the city. I heard the Grand opening is this weekend. Great neighborhood spot

Im only giving 2 star due to the fact that this is not French food anymore. Its now a Mediterranean restaurant. We went expecting French. Ordered dolmas. They were good but decided to leave after we found out they didnt have wine and we really were wanting French dining that night.
