2017-06-13 called and asked can I call ahead and place my order (for lunch)? Tori answered the phone call and said, yes, she took my order and recognized my voice and remembered serving me the last time that I was there. I asked for her recommendations on the sides for the turkey BLT croissant sandwich, she gave me recommendations and when I arrived, she had my plate in her hand when I walked through the door and as I waited for a few seconds to be seated. She seated me, I enjoyed the meal, asked her for recommendations for dessert, she recommended the layer cake and it was the best layer cake I had in years. I need to continue to ask for Tori to serve me, but everyone else there is nice, too. After first visit (sometime ago)... Interior decor, waitress, food and lady owner/Manager was excellent. European inspired menu/etc. Waitress (young Asian lady) knew the menu very well, lady owner/manager came and spoke to us and asked how was everything, the waitress asked similar question after serving the dessert and or entree. Many different seating options (outside/patio, inside half booth half table or entire table, smaller tables, larger tables). Dessert menu changes (weekly) since they have a pastry chef. Dessert menu options were very nice. We tried the peach bread pudding and blackberry tart, and for entree, we had the Mediterranean seafood pasta. The dessert was my favorite part of the meal. We dont care for wine in the entree options but I guess many other people do prefer that. I recommend this place to any and all. Our bill was 60+, and the waitress definitely deserved a 20% tip!

Sat outside with friends, so cannot review the inside or restrooms. I love the location. In towne center, on a corner, nice pavers, buildings line the street, grassy area across the street. Very cozy setting. Excellent options for soups, salads, sandwiches, and crepes. I had the chicken lyonnaise. Comes on a baguette. A little too crunchy for a sandwich, I ended up cutting my sandwich in thirds to make it easier to bite in to. Though crunchy, the baguette was delicious. Tasted freshly baked. The chicken was a great combination with the pancetta. I liked the melted cheese over the meat, added a nice creamy texture. The side salad was small, but had carrots, pecans, cranberries, dressing, and a nice greens mix. Might consider getting a fuller size next visit. I liked how the flavors mixed together. For dessert, I had the most amazing bread pudding. They make the croissants in house, instead of using day old bread. The peaches were a nice, sweet addition and blended well with the rum sauce. A must have!! Staff was very attentive and took great care of our party.

We had lunch and the food was very good and unique. There are only a few other French Cafés in Williamsburg. This is not a quick lunch spot. You can tell there is individual attention to your order. Save room for dessert, I believe most are made in house.

We love the Corner Cafe! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food and drinks are delicious and well-done, and the desserts are beyond compare. Go only if you enjoy eating delicious food and enjoying every bite. We go back frequently.

This is, quite simply the best kept secret that Williamsburg has to offer. The good is amazing. The Chef here understands food as an art and not just a service. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Do NOT miss this place.
