You know how when you drive by a place and think, "nah". Well, Ive driven by several times and today decided to stop in. Looks can be very deceiving. The food here is excellent, service very good. Located off 264 at S. Rosemont exit, right beside the EconoLodge. I stopped in for lunch and I am glad I did!! So much so, Ill be bringing wife and son back with me. Value is good. Not great. What I mean is usually, in Mexican restaurants, you get a little more portion. That being said, its not bad for the value either. I ate my lunch and am comfortably full. 12 oz. non-premium beer a little pricey at $3.29 (about $1.10 higher than most lunch time menues) I selected the Speedy Gonzales that comes with a taco, an enchilada and choice of rice or beans. (I got the rice) All was exceptional and the rice, in particular, was fresh and fluffy. I would highly recommend this place especially if you dont care for the spicey side of Mexican food (I do not) but enjoy a clean environment and well prepared food that has excellent taste!!

For more than 10 years it used to be our favorite spot to eat until about 1-2 years ago. Over time the place has been getting more and more dirty, and the quality of the food started to decline. Just before we stopped going I ordered steak and it was so fatty I had to toss 1/2 of it out, it happened again another day, then the final straw was the last time we went - roaches on our table. The service has always been top notch, but something has gone very wrong there. A good friend stopping going this past weekend when they found a centipede in their meal. Centipedes usually mean spoiled food. Very sad to see such a nice place go downhill like this, and our trust is so badly broken, there is no way we would go back, unless we saw them gut it and rebuild it (good faith effort).

Dont go here....husband & I were eating & noticed something moving from corner of eye..looked over & a cockroach was crawling on my napkin on the table. Must have crawled from under table to top! I jumped up & spit my food into another napkin! Ugh!! Waiter rushed over & sed sorry & took napkin & grabbed roach. We left & spoke to manager. He apologized & sed he knos they have a roach problem but they are working on it to try to get it under control...REALLY!! They shud shut down! Did not pay & WILL NOT go back!! B4 got in car shook self out & emptied purse to make sure no roaches. ugh!!

Pretty pissed. I just ordered food from here through order up. I ordered chicken that was supposed to be smothered in cheese and asked for a side of cheese sauce because I couldnt find an option to add it to me cart. Instead of calling me and saying "hey cheese sauce is extra do you still want it?" They sent my driver out here with no cheese and no heads up that I wasnt getting any flipping cheese. Im so pissed. Also the stupid chicken that was supposed to have cheese has no blasted cheese.

My husband and I just got back from this place, and it was amazing. The service was awesome (granted, we walked in around 8:30 on a random Wednesday). The food was delicious, and in such large quantities that we each ended up taking half our meals home (and we love to eat). And, one of my favorite parts, since many Mexican restaurants in this area dont seem to do this - free chips and salsa before the meal! Well definitely be back here whenever were in the area.

Tacos Al Pastor! WAAAAYYY TOOO SAALLTTY! I was so disappointed when I had this dish....phew, it was so salty. Im not sure if it was the marinade/sauce that was on it, or if it was actual salt....yuck. I had one of the tacos, couldnt stomach the other two. I smeared beans on half the taco, it seemed to help cut down on the super saltiness. The chips with the salsa werent too bad. Also, the dining area was soooo cold... thank goodness I was wearing a long sleeve.

okay, so i dont know if maybe they went under new management or what, but i used to LOVE this place. i specifically went there for ceviche because i havent been able to find another mexican place that serves it yet. I went here recently and the food just wasnt the same. it was bland, the beef didnt taste like beef AT ALL. i was very disappointed. and i had a margarita that just didnt taste good and it cost me $8 for a "jumbo" that was not "jumbo" at all.

I was nervous to try this place out after reading some reviews, but left extremely satisfied customers. The prices were very reasonable and our food was delicious! I was impressed on the decor and cleanliness. Our waiter took amazing care of us. He was checking on us and giving us refills every couple minutes. If my husband and I werent moving in a couple of weeks, we would definitely be frequent customers here.

The service was good. The food was pretty good it was served warm instead of hot, yet everything was sent out in a timely manner so Im not sure what the problem wouldve been there. Just removed the step where I had to wait on it to cool I guess. The food was still full of flavor! My husband had no complaints. I would still suggest it to others and we will definitely be back!

I was very excited of going to taste a very fine Mexican food but I was completely disappointed when I saw a small cockroach crawling out underneath the table. So that tells me that there might be even more in the kitchen. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, but when I saw a cockroach coming toward my plate I was completely turned off of staying there.

The server was very inattentive for a moderately slow evening. We waited roughly 40 minutes for 3 tacos and beef fajitas. The red salsa was generic, like canned tomatoes. Additionally, the food is a bit over priced based on other Mexican places in the area. Three Al Pastor tacos, $10.99 ala carte. Not returning.

The fountain in the entry way looks like its seen better days but the inside is clean. One of the only Mexican restaurants Ive been to that included complimentary white sauce in addition to salsa with the chips. Food was really good and would recommend mexican food lovers give this place a shot.

The tacos were delicious the taco salad was like nothing Ive ever experienced before. It was like soup. If I had checked it out before leaving the shop I would have never taken it out. I couldnt eat that. That was a waste of my money. I will never forget that.
