Roach in my drink, and very poor Customer Service skills....I went there yesterday with a friend and we sat at their patio, we ordered our food and drinks, the food came is was kind of ok, while eating, I had a glass of coke, after I zip or two I saw something small crawling out of my glass and it was a ROACH, eww...I asked my friend to call the waiter to show him the bug, waiter came bringing another glass of soda, I said is a bug in my drink and he just took the glass with him and left quickly, after that I couldnt eat anymore, since I was grouse out about the whole thing, so I called the Manager and he came, he had ask me if I was sure it came out from my drink?, he said, it could be a fly and he doesnt have control over bugs flying around, I had told him, I saw it crawling out of drink!, I even felt like I was making a big issue about a simple thing, is was awful for me, the way he managed the whole situation, it was horrible, Ive never seem a manager talking to a Customer like that, I didnt want to make a scene, a old friend suggested the place, the Manager offered a big discount in the food since he said I ate some of the food already and yes I did! before I found the unpleasant Roach inside my drink. He had charged me for the DRINK! but didnt charge me for the main dish wow he made my night. What a awful night and I felt treated with no respected by the Manager, I would never go back there again, not just for the Roach also for the way the Manager handled the situation, he was lucky I didnt make a scene then, but still upset

The first thing I noticed upon entering El Paso was all the cool paintings on the walls. Unfortunately thats about the only thing I liked about El Paso. The chips and salsa we were given wasnt very good, and our group suspected the salsa was from a jar and not freshly made. The waitress seemed to have a hard time keeping our orders straight. We all ordered one of their combination platters and I was the only one that got what I ordered placed in front of me. Everybody else had to exchange platters with each other until the orderes were correct. My combination consisted of a chalupa, a burrito, and a taco. The chalupa was a mess of flattened soggy taco shell covered in refried beans and lettuce. The burrito was more like a small enchilada, as it was thin, long, and smothered with melted cheese and sauce. The taco was filled with bland, unseasoned ground beef. I didnt get to sample the chile relleno, but the general consensus was that they were pretty gross. The breading was soggy, and the cheese filling was watery and completely oozed out onto the plate when cut open. Nobody in our group enjoyed what they got and I wouldnt come back to eat here.

The food was generally ok. The service was polite and the servers were friendly but the issue was that they got our order wont, twice!! The first time, they bright the wrong dish which they fixed and bright a new dish (which wed originally asked for) after we waited for a while. The second error was that this new dish was a vegetarian fish but we find beef pieces in it. One of the people in the group thankfully stopped us before we ate the beef, but it was extremely disturbing that they messed up a vegetarian dish and put meat in it. And all this happened even though wed told the servers initially that we were all veg, and ordered dishes while specifically mentioning that its a veg dish. At the end of it, it just spoilt our appetite completely and the meal was no longer enjoyable. I give it 2 stars because the dishes we ordered tasted fine and the drinks were generally good.

If you are looking for great TexMex food, this place is not the place to find it. We had the introductory meal for two in order to sample several items. This meal includes taco, burrito, enchilada, tamale, quesadilla, chili relleno, rice, refried beans, salsa and chips. We are not lovers of very spicy food but this food had no flavor of Mexico. The red sauce tasted like tomato sauce straight from the can. All the meat in these items was the same lightly seasoned ground beef. The taco had only meat, cheese and lettuce--no sauce or tomato. The stuffed chili pepper was a blackened bell pepper with some cheese and tomato sauce. Overall the food had the same bland flavor. On a positive note, the quesadilla and the refried beans were acceptable, and the chips were freshly fried. The decor was colorful and the service was fine. Maybe it was a bad chef night, but we wont be back.

This is my GO TO Mexican place. I have been a loyal customer since they opened. It used to be a pizza place. I go for Margarita ville every Thursday- specials on regular lime margaritas. The menu is varied, and the prices are reasonable. The staff is very cordial and they have many regular customers such as myself. I try different things, but stick to my regular choices also. Their chile con queso dip is different than the gloppy orange dip one usually finds. It is creamy, spicy and white. LOVE! Family run, friendly service. Try it. The salsa IS fresh. Its NOT from a jar as one reviewer mentioned. They also have a habanero sauce that is fiery or a milder tomatillo sauce in addition to their salsa. I have recommended this place to all my colleagues. OLE !

First let me say, weve been going here for almost 4 years. A friend of ours was back in town, so of course we wanted to go to our usual spot. It was about an hour before they closed so you know, plenty of time. They turned us away at the door saying they were closed, bc business was slow. There were 3 groups eating on the patio outside and who know how many inside finishing. As we were in the parking lot figuring out an outstanding place near by, we watched them turn away at least 4 other groups. So. Just by observation. People wanted to eat there but they didnt feel like working the advertised hours. The foods pretty good. But after 4 years you lost my familys and all my friends business as well. Ill never bother to go back.

The food was as expected but the drinks were pretty bad. I didnt see one Hispanic person eating in there so I would assume, seeing as it is located in an area that is heavily populated by Hispanics, that its not all that great... I mean, if I dont see Vietnamese folks eating the pho then Im certainly not eating there. The staff was friendly and our server was very helpful with replacing my first drink, which was really gross, very quickly and without charge. He was prompt as was the food. Dont know that Ill go back but I wouldnt say its horrible either. They do have some nice outdoor seating but the location isnt really great for all that.

Yes five stars because their wait staff is outstanding (especially Michael). Their food is great and I love the chori pollo (chicken, chorizo, cheese sauce). Fajitas are good and the corn shells are good. The chips they give you with salsa at the start are awesome and the cheese sauce is authentic and creamy if you go for that sort of thing. The guacamole is simple, but tasty... seems to have only a few ingredients and the avocados are always fresh. I feel like they pour light on drinks but I havent had them often enough to know if thats a consistent thing or not. Overall...best Authentic meals around.
