We have tried all the Chinese places in this area because we love great quality food, and this is now our new go to Chinese take out restaurant! There food is by far the best in the area from what we had the other day for Chinese take out. We had the won ton soup (which was the best in town), the General Toes Chicken (which was the best in town), and the roast pork lo mien, all were SPOT on delicious and better then all the other places we have tried by far! The portions are good and the egg roles are huge! My only critique would be that the egg roll could have been just a bit crispier in my opinion but the food is AWESOME and is by far the best Chinese food we have had in the Fredericksburg area. Give this place a go!! Trust me, its better then what we have gotten at all the other places for what we have tried so far. When we were picking up our food there was also a lady in there that said its been their local go too place as well for 20 years! She said its the best in the area as well, and that we would love it. Try it, the proof is in the food!

This place blows away china wok, golden china china king etc. the beef is always real tender. The gen tsos is perfect. It doesnt taste like soggy chewy chicken that half the places in the burg serve. There soups were all fresh. There rice good hot and soft. 25 mins to deliver 4 miles away. That is quick!

The food was good, the service was good, but the price was a little much. The General Tsao chicken was good, the fried rice was alright but pretty salty, the crab ragoons were good, but small & little filling in each. It was alright, just a little shocked at the price for the quality of food.

The egg rolls were very good and about the size of a burrito. My hubby had the general Tsos chicken and said it was the best out of all the Chinese places weve been to in the burg. The chicken lo mein wasnt all that great, kinda dry and tasteless but the crab ragoons were great.

I have been going to China House for years!!! They are expensive when comparing them to other Chinese take-out restaurants in the area, however their quality and quantity is noticeably higher. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are seeking Chinese take-out.

Overpriced and the food was mediocre at best. Received the receipt and it wasnt itemized other than a scribble of numbers which I figured out shortly after I left was at least $8 overpriced. I wont go back. I suspect at least half of these reviews are shills.

We eat here often. The food is always great, and the people who work there are very few. They even remember how we like our food done! I like my beef with snow peas without the mushrooms, and my husband likes his Szechuan beef extra spicy. She always remembers!

The food here is pretty good. Its not anything fancy, and they are a little pricey, but the portion sizes are there to back that up. If you are looking for better-than-average food, try this place.
