I dont normally write reviews, but after the third or fourth terrible experience I was willing to go to the trouble of signing into my email account to post one and warn others. Ive been to a number of Pei Wei locations and always find good service and well prepared food. That is never the case here. Whether for take out or dining in, the tofu is like jerky, the vegetables are always hard like they forgot to start the broccoli in time, and service has ranged from okay to "how did I get here and what are all these buttons?" Tonight when we walked in at 8 there were two customers (apparently it takes some people less time to get the hint.) One of the employees was *standing* on a cooktop or stove while scrubbing the range hood and flinging suds around, while five or six other employees stood around watching or staring off into the distance. For some reason we were called up to pick up our order before it was packed, so we dutifully observed that process and left with our bag. Drove the 10 or 15 minutes home and opened our dishes to discover they didnt include the tofu. $22 later and we have two giant containers of rice and half cooked vegetables to show for our trouble. Definitely crossing this Pei Wei location off my list for good.

Let me start by saying - when their food is cooked correctly and they get the order right, PEI WEI rocks! However, this location has some serious issues that show an obvious lack of management. I always order take-out and always shrimp. At least 40-50% of the time (no exaggeration!), there is something wrong with my order - from the wrong kind of rice, chicken instead of shrimp (even though they repeat the order back to me), or an almost non-existent amount of snap peas, when I have asked for extra. And right now I am eating my take out order and the rice is sticky and overcooked, not enough Kung Po sauce to flavor even half of the rice, and literally 10 snap peas in a large order, when I asked for extra. If this is a company owed location, PEI WEI needs to make some random visits and consider overhauling the on-site management team. If a franchise, well - they need to hire a contractor to help clean it up.

My wife and I went for dinner last night. The restaurant was a little busy but not bad. I ordered Chicken Teriyaki and she ordered Sesame Chicken. We waited a little longer than expected, but it wasnt bad. My chicken was cooked perfect but my veggies were still cold and not seasoned. It was almost like they put the rice on the plate, put vegetables from the fridge on top of the rice and put the seasoned chicken on top of them and sent it out. Though the chicken was really good, I was very disappointed in the dish.

I am a huge fan of Chicken Lo Mein. It was refreshing to find a restaurant with a healthier version and it was delicious. For some reason, they no longer have the traditional Lo Mein noodles and have replaced them with a ramen noodle. They tell me the Chow Mein is similar but its just not the same. Every time Ive had the Chow Mein, it makes me wish they had Lo Mein again. Well have to find a new favorite restaurant. Such a bummer. Bring back the traditional Lo Mein noodles PLEASE!!!

When my family entered the restaurant, there was one other family already dining, however, there were three tables cluttered with used dishes (NOT A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION). Besides cluttered dishes on the tables, there was also food on the floor, a very sticky carpet by the soda machine and black debris inside the soda machine. Obviously, cleanliness is not a priority here!!! The foods good, but the cleanliness has deterred our family from dining here more often.

I recently tried Pei Wei for lunch and was happy to find a better quality and choice than most "Chinese food" establishments. I had pretty much stopped eating at any chinese food take-outs over 4 months ago because I hated the gloppy, over sauced, extra fried foods they all seemed to have. Pei Wei was very different and had more natural tasting, less breaded/fried selections to choose from. And the Lettuce wraps were great!

Upon arriving we were told it was a 30-40 minute wait to get our food because they were swamped, but not even half the tables were occupied. Half of the drink selections were "unavailable". Everyone in the place (except the cooks) was wearing their coat because it was so cold inside. We received half our order in 35 minutes and the second half in 45 minutes. Food was good once it arrived.

I have eaten here a couple of times, and the food is a nice change and the service is great also. I like the variety and the atomsphere and it is a higher quality than most oriental take-out restaurants. I love that they offer glasses of wine with lunch and that it is quick and easy to order. It is like eating at a fast food restaurant without the fast food.

I am very familiar with asian cuisine especially chinease food. This big chain doesnt offer what I expected out of the food. I have tried a few menu items on here and the lo mein was not good at all. There was no flavor very bland. The fried rice and there version of generals tso was mediocre at best. Do yourself a favor and just go to a traditional mom and pop

Extremely slow service, we ordered carryout and watched order after order go past us. It took 30 minutes for the wrong order to be delivered to us, then we had to wait for the correction. The kitchen staff and the workers putting the dishes together for delivery all appeared to be having confused contains about what dishes went with what order.

Lets just say 2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon with one poor guy running register and delivering meals to table while four people hang out cooking etc. waited 15 min behind two other people and after the second time he stopped taking orders because he needed to deliver cold meals, I walked out. Where is the Mgmt?

Most pathetically managed restaurant we have ever seen. Always messing up our orders. Our last 3 to go orders have been late (one of which was 30 minutes late) and each time they "run out" of something. Cannot dine in when it is 30 min before close. The food can be decent but not even that is consistent.

Just went there to order a dish that I have eaten 3 times. They said they cant make it mild. Its noodles with beef & shrimp. Why was it made 3 times before and it was mild. I just left and said Ill eat somewhere else. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Entrees we get normally are good... if you go stick to entrees. Their "sushi" is by far the worst sushi Ive ever had. Sushi purchased at Harris Teeter is better than this sorry junk. Looked like a massive ball of pre made rice... hardly any fish or "filling". Will never purchase again.

Place was very clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. There was a glitch in the new soda machine and it took several minutes to get it fixed but the manager was going around after the machine was fixed. Will definitely come here again!
