This is a mini-Golden Coral located right off 95 north. I eat at the Golden Coral in my area so I decided to try this one. Oh jeez! The staff was pleasant, they always are. I tried the prime rib. Nice piece of meat, not much fat but incredibly salty! I tried the beef with lemon and spices...oh Gawd it was 96% FAT and the meat was so salty I had to spit it out. I tried the beef stew...yup...salty! I tried the grilled meat and you know they dont give you big pieces, my three pieces had gristle, and sinews (sp?) marbled in the meat. Once I found a piece of meat that I could chew it was good but after three pieces of meat I could only east 50% of it. Gristle, fat and sinew! I noticed everyone was eating fried chicken. I tried some and it was almost like what the GC serve up here. It was good. Aside from that the only thing that wasnt salty was the soda! The lemonade was awful! No lemon taste to it. I havent a clue on what they do to their meats at this location but never again. Next time I stop at that rest stop Im getting pizza right next door! $5 for two nice sized pizza! Very disappointing with this GC.

Food not up to Golden Corral standards. Bourbon chicken didnt tast like bourbon chicken. Salt and pepper couldnt help the mashed potatoes. Too small of a place for the amount of people. Dont get me wrong, it was still good food. I just love the bourbon chicken. My waitress was always reading my mind around the corner. She always put on the table the very thing I was getting ready to ask for. Pricey but its a truckstop. Sad thing though, closed on Christmas? Drivers stuck away from the house look forward to a nice meal on the holidays when theyre alone.

I came here with my boyfriend for what i thought would be a good meal. Wow! First of all people cough in the open air near your food without a care people can swipe your table from under you. You have to babysit your table. It is a overcrowded disgusting place! We got food poisoning here and were sick for 7 days on the road. it was an awful experience! Word of advise avoid buffetts not everyone believes in cleaning and teaching you to cover your mouth when you cough and if youre sick why couldnt you just stay home?! Disaster

I would give 3 stars for food and 5 stars for employees. I deduct from stars for food for 2 reasons. The space is smaller than all other golden corrals so they have a smaller selection. Also, the dessert area doesnt seem well-kept. I cant put my finger on why it doesnt seem kept as nice looking as I might expect. All employees bust their backs to take care of guests and to keep buffet nice (maybe dessert area is just lacking in variety because not as much space as other golden corrals.).

Excellent food, service, however after paying for MILK as a drink. Was told I would have to pay extra for my refill, and I was also told I couldnt have any other drink when I said Just give me Ice tea. Was charged extra for the 1 glass of milk which cost about the same as any other drink. IF YOU DONT WANT CUSTOMER TO ORDER MILK, THAN REMOVE IT FROM MENU. AND TELL THE CUSTOMER YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR MILK. No were on the menu does it say that. It just says all drinks include refills.

The food was not hot nor was it very tasty. There were very few chicken breasts, mostly thighs and legs. The Waitresses were very attentive and courteous thats a plus for this place. I was very disappointed and felt that I did not get my moneys worth. I have gone to many other Golden Corrals and I was very pleased and satisfied concerning the food the taste of it and the variety. I do not recommend this location.

Service is exceptionally great. NOT impressed because I couldnt have steak at 3:30pm, only buffet foods, that were all very good, fresh, hot, and well stocked. At 4:30pm, got steak, ALL fat and gristle, had to go back 4 times to get something that was edible (both of us). GC is usually excellent, everywhere, but I cant recommend this location in Either Glen, VA. They need to find a healthier supply of cows.

Food was room temperature. Should at least be hot when they first bring it out of the kitchen. Famous rolls were cold. Chicken was fried extra hard. Look like it had been reheated. This was like this the previous week. Cant keep overlooking bad food. Was once a nice place to eat a variety of food that tasted good. Next week we will pass this exit and find somewhere else to eat.

The space is far too crowded for a buffet. Trying to meander between rows of food and people simultaneously is perhaps best left for those who are in the performing arts and who possess some better physical coordination than I do. The food surprised me, being better than what I have recalled from some past (decade+) trips to Golden Corral locations. Servers were generally nice.

Brittany was our server and she was amazing! So sweet and always checking on us! Our drinks were always full and our table was kept clean. The staff in its entirety was busy and friendly and the buffet was kept well stocked with FRESH food. Overall the best experience! Thank you so much for being good to us after a long day it was great to sit down and have a great dinner :)

The manager is very rude! We used a credit card to pay and asked if we could get cash back and he said no, not unless you want to add a tip. Why would anyone tip for service before you even eat? The Golden Corral we ate at in a NY truck stop would let you get cash back. This one doesnt even compare in service or food! I think they forget this is a truck stop for truckers.

Everyone deserves a good meal, and you sure get a great one at this Golden Corral location. Its clean, the staff are marvelous and the food is great. Weve eaten at several others and other buffets but this one is our favorite. We are not from the area but when we are there we will always stop and eat. Plus you are treated like family. No joke. Its WELL worth the money.

Not a great location. Its rather small and crowded, and being in a truck stop you need to be very aware of the trucks around you and their potential blind spots when youre driving in and leaving. The food was typical of any other restaurant in this chain. Nothing really bad, nothing really special either, just average.

Michael actually its just as big as some other locations not attached to a truck stop. If you consider their food average I hope you dont think T/A or Petro food is anywhere near..lol.. I believe Keya is just a negative person cause she seems to constantly have negative restaurant experiences for some reason.

Was later in the evening. Yet the food was still hot n fresh. Out server Kandi, was incredibly attentive and has a wonderful spirit about her. Took good care of us. Loved the experience. . ..once the crowd died down a bit..danced to the oldie but goodies with Rodney and a few other folks. Had a blast.
