I went to this Tropical Smoothie Cafe last night and upon entering the building two employees are smoking outside while sitting on the sidewalk. I enter thinking they are on break and the one remaining employee takes my order and begins making my food (sandwich and Smoothie). The two employees that had been outside smoking come rushing in and jump behind the counter and take over (one takes over making the sandwich and the other takes over making the smoothie). **Please note that I did not omit the stopping to wash their hands before taking over.... IT DID NOT HAPPEN. They had been sitting on the ground, smoking, and God knows what else and handled my food without washing their hands. I mentioned it to the "manager" (one of the culprits) and he shook it off... said "sorry" and handed me my food. Are you kidding you may ask?! No..... that is how things apparenlty go at this Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I will have to say that I wont be going back for a while.

Ordered an Island Buffalo sandwich and smoothie. Spilled my smoothie outside of the restaurant and went back inside to get napkins to clean it and myself up. Some dripped onto the floor as I was coming in and no help was offered, employees just stood there. Went back to the counter to order another. I was not expecting a free smoothie since it was my fault. After the employees were done discussing it they informed me that I needed to pay full price for a smoothie. To clarify, at first I paid $4 for the smoothie because I added it onto the sandwich like a combo, and now I had to pay ~$5.25 for a standalone smoothie. On top of all this they gave me a completely different sandwich. Service is terrible.

Ordered two vegetarian chipotle chicken flatbreads (with Beyond meat). All the tables were dirty, so had to actually wipe down our own before sitting down. Received our food but noticed there was bacon inside of them, so returned them and explained we ordered it vegetarian. Please either 1) train your staff to understand what "vegetarian" means, or 2) hire people with enough common sense to ASK if we want bacon on a veg order before wasting food. I also have to agree with the previous review that it constantly smells like somethings burning. I love that Tropical Smoothie offers veg options and Ive never had any issues with other locations, so was really disappointed when we came here.

I love the Tropical Smoothie Cafe at Parham Rd. Yet the few times that I came to this TSC, the smoothie tasted like it had been made with half the flavorful ingredients, or twice the ice. Once, the manager re-made the item, and it was still not like any other TSC Ive been to. The recipes are so specific, and the ingredients come from the same place, so there should not be a difference. Yet, in 5 visits to this location, even under the new management, I can say, its consistently not in line with the rest of this chain.

This place is hit or miss with the smoothies and food. Some days its good but most days its not. Its like rolling dice. Its overly crowded during lunch time, so if your time is limited then dont go here for lunch. Theres usually 1-2 people working out front during its busiest times, which makes it slower than other restaurants during lunch. We went one day and had the displeasure of seeing roaches crawling across the counter and the workers acted as if it was no big deal. Really?

Food is okay. Smoothies are fine. Service is terrible, have gone in multiple times and had the employees be very rude and unhelpful. Entered the store another time to find there was a spill right in the middle of the area that had not been cleaned up.

It was a Sunday morning, the girls behind the counter were really sweet added my superfood packet to my smoothie for me.....but they ended up messing up and putting onions on the bosses food....after he SPECIFICALLY told them not to.

Love the smoothies here! Make sure to check out the array of optional additives they have here. I was impressed that they have pea protein, which is really helpful for those with lactose issues.

Smoothie was great, some ice not all the way ground up but still very good. Flat bread sandwich advertised mashed avocado, yet contained only a tiny avocado starting instead
