I had an unbelievably disappointing experience at this establishment today. And because of it, I will never return to this location EVER again. I happen to be a big fan of Tropical Smoothie and really enjoy their food and smoothies. Their staff (which consists mainly of teenagers) are always very friendly. Unfortunately, the teenagers were not led by example. The female owner is extremely rude and unpleasant. Ive noticed this in the past, but just chalked it up to her having a bad day. But today was the final straw. I learned today that (at least while she is working) Tropical Smoothie is NOT kid friendly. My friend and I, along with each of our two children were enjoying lunch. Toward the end of our time there, the female owner asked if there was anything they could do to "help us. Confused for a second, I wondered what we may need help with. Then I realized that she was implying that our children were being too loud. Appalled by her ignorance, I informed her that they are children and children are loud. She then, in a very snippy way, suggested that we tell them to use their "inside voices". With all of the refrain I could muster, I gathered up my things and started the process of leaving. I told her how offended I was and how I thought that this was a kid friendly establishment (considering that this is a fast food style cafe and not a fine dining establishment). She quickly started to back peddle, suggesting that maybe she could turn on kid shows on the tv (which she did...and blared the volume). I told her not to bother and that wed be leaving. She agreed in an overly polite/ rude tone...and then we left. I am still furious. Is she implying that kids are no longer tolerated at fast food restaurants? If she were looking for a place that caters to no children, perhaps she should have invested her money elsewhere. So, unfriendly female owner, I wish you had tolerance and tact...because without it, you have lost a loyal, well paying customer. Congratulations.

Im just writing a 5 star review to counter the INSANELY MORONIC woman who gave this place a one star because someone dared ask that she tell her kids to not scream inside the restaurant. Ok, I get it, you think your little units are the brightest angels in all the world, but they arent, and you are nothing more than a snob with her head up her own rear. You think someone asking you to tell your kids to use their inside voice means its no longer "kid friendly"???? Lady, people like you make me sick. You bring your little brats to public places, let them go nuts, then when someone dares ask you to show THE SLIGHTEST BIT OF PARENTING, you act like youre the victim of some grossly over exaggerated conflict. Youre not. Youre a rude snobbish B, and I for one am SO GLAD that you left your review for the world to see. It makes me want to go eat there even more, frankly, knowing that an irritating blowhards such as yourself wont be there ever again. This place deserves 5 stars, not 1 star.

All the smoothies come with "turbinado" which is a marketing smokescreen for "sugar". But Ive gotten about 10 green smoothies recently and I skip the extra sugar every time and they are perfectly great as-is. Refreshing and tasty without being sickly sweet. Good coupons with purchase usually too! The wraps were good too. Knocking one star off for no organic options/ingredients whatsoever on the menu and no whole grain tortillas/wrap bread, only white bread.

I love coming here there smoothies are delicious but I would not suggest going to this location because their strawberries are causing people to end up in the ER. I was very dissatisfied when I heard about this. You are better off going to the other location in Powder Village Square.

Terrible customer service! Also, for those who bought a Patriot High School Coupon card, be prepared, they do not take it here even though a specific location is not mentioned anywhere on the card.

Thai chicken wrap is my go to favourite. Good in general, but wish they had a better selection of drinks to accompany a meal. A smoothie with an entre is too much.
