Stay away from this place. Food is gross, tiny portions for high price, service is despicable. I tried to give this place another try today because my family was in the mood for some kabobs and we used GrubHub to order since we didnt want to go though the hassle of loading up the van and driving in. Giving MG another chance was a horrible $100 mistake. First of all, I use GrubHub often and have had minimal issues with other restaurants Ive ordered from. This is the second time having similar issues with MG, this time was much worse than before. 30 minutes after the promised delivery window, I called into the restaurant to ask when I should expect the food to be delivered. I was rudely asked for my name before being put on hold. Once the lady came back on the phone, she sassily told me that it would be delivered in less than 10 minutes and promptly hung up before I had a chance to say anything. Food didnt arrive for another 17 minutes. I wouldnt be as annoyed if the food was still warm when it came but it was cold, tough, and soggy. Obviously it was sitting around for a long time before I got it. On top of the temperature and consistency, the food was tasteless and overall gross. Because of the rude treatment I received when I called the restaurant, I decided to go to GrubHubs website to complain. GrubHub called the restaurant to voice my concerns and they refused to do anything to mend the situation. GrubHub, being the upstanding company they are, offered me an apology and gave some promotional cash to use towards my next order through them. They also recommended that I leave a review of MG. Here it is - gross food, small expensive portions, and lowly service. I cannot stress enough how far you should stay away from this dingy kitchen.

Atmosphere was nice, even though I could see a layer of dust on everything, including the inside of the hanging lamps. Food was hit or miss & WAY overpriced. Both my husband and his friend ordered the lamb shank ($16) and both dishes came out dangerously cold. When the waitress was informed, she apologized and returned the food to the kitchen to be refired, but no manager came to speak with us. No comps were offered either. Waiting time is unbelievably slow. We also had two children with us under the age of four. 45 minutes to receive a grilled cheese pita quesadilla and french fries? In spite of asking TWICE where our food was and requesting the kids food to come out first? We like leisurely dinners, but we werent expecting TWO HOURS from start to finish. The biggest insult was the price, especially after the long wait and improperly prepared food. $95 bill for four adults and one kids entree with no alcohol. None of us will return. Update: The gentlemen received stomachaches later that night & were inclined to think its food poisoning from the cold lamb shanks.

The food here is delicious, though a bit pricey. Being a veteran of a Desert Storm deployment, Im a long-time fan of a good shawarma, and the Mediterranean Grill delivers. The kitchen is a tad on the slow side, so in my experience, lunch on a Monday offers the best service. That way youre less likely to compete with others for the staffs attention. The wine selection is fairly extensive as well, and in the spring and summer, patio seating nearly doubles their capacity. The Mediterranean Grill overlooks the courtyard and fountain in front of the cinema, which offers a spectacular view of the shopping plazas concert series. Most of their meals come with a pita appetizer with seasoned olive oil, which is also delicious and is a great way to start your meal.

This once was a great place to eat. WAS a favorite of my daughter and I. I have always ordered the beef kabobs with grilled veggies and rice. The last two visit between May and Aug have been horrible. In May the kabobs came with one skewer of meat and 2 of veggies like always, but was burned not to mention an hour late. This most recent visit the kabob came with one skewer that had 3 pieces of meat, and then another skewer of grilled veggies. Rice or alternate dish did not show with meal. The manager saw no need to correct the bill, but after much debate did adjust the price. Wont go here again.

Whats not to love about MG? From the moment you walk through the door youre treated no less than family. Reasonably priced yummy food, warm welcoming atmosphere, clean, excellent service. You absolutely will not and cannot be dissapointed! When I have friends ask me "where should we eat? Where is a good place?" I always know just where to take them to impress. Pay no mind to the negative reviews - this is the place you want to sit down and enjoy GOOD food!

The food is OK. Most of the meat dishes, including the lamb, are all massively overcooked. The lamb dishes especially are dry and tough, and theyre certainly not worth the premium price on the menu. The vegetarian dishes are superb, with the falafels and sambousek as great stand outs. All of the yogurt sauces are also excellent. Unfortunately, the service at the restaurant is mixed. The food is often late, and the servers can be quite surly.

I am a regular visitor of Med Grill and have always been very happy. They have recently changed their menu and unfortunately they have done away with some of my favorites but there are still plenty of great food to eat. The staff is always attentive and friendly. I recommend that they bring back the original bruschetta and the veggie tray for the gluten free/low carb customers. Time to update your website.

The atmosphere is fine, the food is just okay, not great and service is slow....ALL OF THE FOOD is WAY overpriced....had a Greek Salad with a Chicken Skewer....just for a basic salad, with 4 chicken cubes (about 1/2" a piece), the price was $18.02....This was not a salad worth $18.....Wont be going back as the quality of the food doesnt justify the outrageous prices....

If you are intereseted in/looking for Mediterranean food or just simply like/desire to try something new, then The Mediterranean Grill in Frederick, MD is your next stop without a doubt! Very elegant place, quality food and just the best service you wish to get dining out... I, myself, drive an hour solely to dine at this restaurant! I highly recommend it! Huda J.

Food took nearly an hour on a slow night. The chix souvlaki was just chunks of chicken rolled in spices and over cooked. My son ordered chix fingers (not very adventurous) and they were the frozen variety, overly salty and over cooked. After all of this, we were charged 18% gratuity! 18%! Never going back.

Fabulous dinner, Good has an amazing menu and the food was delicious. Our party of four were all delighted with the flavors of our dishes. Service was excellent and the place has a nice ambience and location. Ill come back for more chicken tandoori and some fatayer.

Love this place. Food is great and fresh. Takes time because it is not fast food. l I love sitting out side in the summer as well. I am hooked on the mezze platters. I have always found the staff to be accommodating and helpful when choosing new dishes. We go often.
