Thursday, February 12th I made the decision to order some Chinese food. Randomly I got online and went down the list of places that would deliver to my house. I came across a restaurant called " Good Taste" ( GT) located 931 W. Grace St. Richmond , VA 23220 . as I order my food, which was sweet & sour chicken with white rice, the lady on the phone told me that my total came to $7 something. She told me that I needed to have at least $10 or more for them to deliver to me, so I said " I dont want anything else, so I will call somewhere else, thank you." so I called another Chinese restaurant to have them deliver to me and I ordered the same meal to be delivered. A man shows up with sweet & sour chicken and white rice and I pay him $12.00 ( this included the tip). I ate some of the food, and was disgusted with the way it tasted. The chicken was very soggy, and the rice I noticed had random brown pieces in it. The meal came with an egg roll that I gave it to my boyfriend Matt. He said it was cold and soggy and disposed of it. Then while I am telling my boyfriend how gross my chicken was, the door bell rings and to my surprise another delivery of Chinese food, this was the place that I had ordered from. The nasty food that I was eating was actually from GT! The first restaurant I had called that told me they needed $10 to make a delivery, the restaurant I told I was ordering from somewhere else. So I told the delivery man the situation and he told me not to worry and since he was such a nice guy I tipped him $4.00 for the trip he had to make. Now I am very upset that GT had delivered to me when I told them I didnt want there food, I give them a call to let them know of the confusion. At first she claims she does not know what I am talking about, and another man gets on the phone. I tell him and he understands and they tell me to bring the food back and that I will get my money back. When I get there I give her the food, which is more than half full and she yells at me telling me she does not know why I am asking for money. I tell her that we had a verbal agreement that if I drove to her restaurant and gave her the food, that I would get my money back. She then gets very angry and we go back and forth about the food, I tell her that it was no good and I didnt enjoy it, and she yells "why do you eat it" I told her I had to taste it and it didnt taste good, and I did not want this food to begin with. She eventually curses at me saying the word "f***" and then calls the police, by this time I am in tears and shaking because this lady was yelling with such hate and aggression. I explain to the police and they tried to ask the lady for my money and she refused to give it to me. The police informed me they had had problems with her in the past and due to the fact it was a civil matter could not force her to refund me. So unfortunately I was out of luck, out of money, and out of food. One more thing I would like to add is that the condition of the restaurant was very dirty and it had tons of dishes all over the place, I did not see any gloves and or hair nets. I am also going to take the time to report them to the health department of Richmond

Got a flyer in the door today, decided to give them a try. Ordered sweet and sour chicken, beef broccoli, and pork fried rice for delivery. The telephone call was quick and pleasant, and the food got here pretty quick..about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the food wasnt that great. The deep fried chicken chunks had an off flavor when compared to most chinese restaurants, and were too salty. So was the beef broccoli. The beef broccoli also had a lower, fattier grade of the canned-like beef thats normally in beef broccoli, and the brown sauce seemed to be bland - though salty. The pork fried rice was pretty good, with chunks of pork. But almost no vegetables or fried egg. It may be that they use their own sauce recipes instead of the "standard" americanized chinese restaurant ones, but the low quality of the beef and the chicken means well try another close restaurant next time.

Horrible Horrible Found metal in a piece of chicken in a chicken and Broccoli dish. Called to tell the manager who wasnt available lady demanded i send a picture by text. After sending picture I called back and lady argued with me about giving me a refund. I asked her to provide a receipt of the refund and she was very rude, got loud with me and told me it would be a couple of days before she would send it and then said it would take 7 days then magjically a picture appeared of an adjusted receipt about 20 minutes later. I guess telling her i was going to the health department helped them move the refund along. Still going to the health department. The last time I ordered the delivery driver gave me an attitude after asking me for a tip and I said no. Also a co-worker found plastic in an order of crab sticks.

Do NOT spend you money here. No one is exaggerating in any way the poor quality of the food, or the awful service. It took them over an hour to deliver my food, in that time I began reading reviews. Not positive at all. When they finally delivered the food, and I opened it, I almost immediately gagged. Their "fried rice" looked like small pieces of cheese and crayon shavings, the general tsos, looked like clumps of brown play-dough breaded and fried. The egg drop soup was just hot yellow water, barely anything recognizable as an egg floating inside. It actually resembled something closer to, something that cannot be said here. Do not eat at this restaurant, I didnt take the chance of getting sick and threw it away. I would have had more pleasure burning twelve dollars.

I called to place an order for delivery. The person I spoke with was extremely rude. She even hung up on me when I couldnt understand her trying to explain my total. I called back and she still was rude so I end up not ordering from them. Dont order from here they are really rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Who wants to give a company their business that yells at you over the phone and then they expect you to give them your money. Find another place to give your business to.

Very rude customer service, had just ordered, never got told a delivery time, went over my order three times. Wouldnt be surprised if it is wrong. After payment hang up. Had to call back for delivery time, was told "just keep your phone on, we call you. Hopefully food is better than customer service. Ordered again. Food is ok, but the customer service is a loss. The delivery driver just added $ to my bill. Called to ? it and they hung up on me
