the chicken hot and sour soup had no flavor whereas I could not tell the chicken from the tofu in my soup. I was not able to make it past the first fork full of my hunan beef dish. the beef was as soft as the tofu in my soup. my egg roll had minced vegetables instead of freshly cut vegetables...hmmm? the other reviewers must have been china cafe employees and family members. I side with the other reviewer that gave 1 star also as I felt fooled too by the reviews given. Id like to say that I did finish my soup because I was hungry. stay away from this place if you are looking for quality. I will not count on reviews for chinese restaurants in chantilly again as this is the second bad restaurant in a row. I recommend for the first time at a chinese restaurant here go to the restaurant in person first and decide!!! yours truly,

I found several hairs in a takeout order from China Cafe in early 2015. I called the restaurant, and they refused to do anything whatsoever, literally accusing me of lying. They hanged up on me after less than 30 seconds. A colleagues 3 years old had to visit emergency room for severe allergic syndromes while she told the restaurant to not put in any peanuts as her son is allergic to peanut. She guessed they forgot about her instruction. After they realized it, they didnt bother to make another order. Instead, they picked out the peanuts. But they didnt pick them clean and left a few in the food. Worst restaurant ever - you have been warned! I am Mason Davis and I stand by my review of this HORRIBLE dining experience. I worked at the now closed Kmart 3 blocks away from 2010 to early 2015 as a sales manager. Many locals know me well.

I went with it because it was cheaper than others in the area. Dont go with this place. Ive never ordered kung pow beef and had it come with such a pathetic amount of beef and a mass amount of water chestnuts (which I normally like just fine, but these tasted awful, I cant even describe how crappy they were). We also got beef chow fung (fat noodles and beef), there was an even more pathetic amount of beef and a mass amount of just flabby tasting noodles. Seriously, dont order from here, its a waste of money.

This is the best general tsos chicken in the history of the entire planet and its not even close. I havent purchased General Tsos Chicken from anywhere else in over 10 years because I KNOW its not even going to be close to the Gen Tsos @ China Cafe. The only other thing Ive gotten is beef and broccoli, thats pretty ridiculously good. Thank you China Cafe for being there when I needed you most

We travel 24/7 eat Chinese food every where we go and we are not sure if this is good Chinese food to VA but worst we have ever had. The crab ragoon was horrible, tasted so fishy and gross we did not eat it. This is the only place we have ever eaten cashew chicken that there is no sauce or Vegs and the general Tsos Chicken was ok but only had the chicken. Would not recommend.

Chinese food can be so hit or miss. After moving to Chantilly Ive been finding a lot of horrible places and couldnt find a good place. This place though, was spot on. Everything we got was AMAZING. From the crab ragoon to the general tsos! Delish!

We ordered from here last weekend and it was the best tasting, most fresh Chinese food I have gotten in this area. I eat Chinese food fairly often, but had never tried this place before for some reason. I am sorry it took so long for me to try it!

Great late night dinner after traveling all day. Walked across the street from the hotel. Super friendly and very fast service. In and out in 5 minutes. Food was outstanding, and plentiful. Had leftovers for lunch the next day, just as tasty.

The Sesame Chicken is the best, we love the cashew chichen and egg drop soup as well.We have been getting take out here for 10 years. Large portions,good price, quick service and great taste. What more could you want!!

Ive lived in the Herndon area for over 25 years and this is my go to chinese place. General Tsos Chicken is very good, as is the Orange Beef and Lo Mein. The people are very nice and will adjust heat to taste.

Average-to-above-average Chinese take out. ordering and delivery was fine, food arrived hot, but no utensils were provided...no plate, chop sticks or even a spoon or fork. Should have checked the bag.
