A hidden gem. I had a turkey avocado sandwich, and it was one of the best sandwiches Ive ever had. Made to order with fresh, artisan frenchbread, and plenty of turkey. Came with a side of excellent potato salad. A superb, friendly cafe with great food and prompt friendly service. Its in the downtown area of Norfolk, and a 3 minute walk from both the Nauticus museum and the Waterside center. (Prince bookstore--another hidden gem--shares the floorspace, so you can buy a book and read while having lunch or coffee.)

Nice and clean area quaint and relaxing place to read a book or get something home made and fresh to eat. Original recipes and great taste with staff. The customer service is above and beyond I couldnt ask for anything better. The staff continuosly checked to see if I was ok and if I enjoyed my food offering help when I didnt know what to pick. Also helping with saving money for myself as to not spend a lot of money and get bang for my buck. I love this place and my fav dish is the tuna apple and cranberry salad!!

Great price and atmosphere. The books are pretty limited but you can check out the selection while wait or eat. The sandwich /soup deal is pretty good. The bowl is huge! Go with cup if you arent looking to get full Prices are good

Fresh and delicious food coming out of the kitchen in this hidden spot!!! I love all of their salads and sandwiches, you get great portions and the staff is awesome. Check them out inside the Prince Books store!
