My first visit in a year. Wow, wheres the time gone? We stopped in here for lunch a couple of weeks ago just before I went to Philly and had an excellent lunch. Our friendly hostess seated us immediately and the lady who was going to be our sever dropped off some menus and took the drink order. I was craving a burger, so I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger. My co-worker Troy ordered the Southwest Chicken sandwich and my other co-worker William ordered a Reuben. After a short wait our entrees arrived and as always they looked as delicious as I knew they were going to taste. I immediately broke out the iPhone camera and snapped a shot. Then took a picture of Troys Southwest Chicken sandwich. William asked if I wanted a shot of his Reuben and I said "No. Reubens Suck" and put the camera away. This had us all laughing. Once the meal was over we were all Thanksgiving full. Our server offered us dessert but we all refused. It was bad enough we had to drive back to work on a full stomach and would have coma state if I had eaten another bite. Service was excellent and everyone is always very friendly there. I need to get there more often! Give them a try if youre in Great Bridge.

My wife and I dine put occassionally. We settled in the area in 1984. Since that time we have been there several times over the years due to location. The food selection is very good and the menu has kept up with the Times. That is the main reason we continue to return to this satisfying "Dine out" experaince. Each of the menu items are very well prepared and presented. Our special ocassion favorites are the Prime rib and the Flounder dinners. A the preferred wine selection recommended by the server/host were did not over power the meal. Sometimes we have to bring home due to the portion sizes served. And as left overs at home, it is consumed the next day. Maybe not a full meal, but a great " hold me over" next sit down meal. What impresses me the most was the attention we continue to receive during our stay. A bit expensive, but worth every dollar spent. We will continue to dine out with Courthouse Cafe of Great Bridge.

Hubby and i went for lunch. We ordered the fried shrimp appetizer which was good. Our lunch entries, crab cake and a french dip were horrible to say the least. I took one bite of the crab cake and knew it wasnt right. When i told the server she said i wasnt the first person to say that. Wow really someone else complains about the same dish and they still serve it. Hubby took one bite of his french dip and he was done. We ordered two different meals and were equally disappointed. We wont be back. Oh and its not the first time weve been there but it was the last.

Great bridge restaurant that has been around for many years. I typically order the peel n eat shrimp and they are delicious. Courthouse Cafe has great she crab soup as well. I am not a big meat eater however when I have dined with others I have been told the prime rib is very good. The place is very cozy and has a lot of wood. There are very unique menus that mimic court dockets. All staff are very friendly and helpful. You typically get a little bucket filled with crackers and breadsticks and butter to snack on while you are waiting for your entree.

Each year my brother-in-law visits from NY so I like to take him here. The place is cozy and reminds me a lot of the bar on the sitcom, Cheers. Sometimes we eat at the bar when all the booths are taken. We tend to order items like the burgers, chicken tenders, and fried mushrooms. And the cobblers too, all fantastic. Portion size is good too; the chicken tender appetizer is enough to be a full meal. The wait staff are friendly and helpful, much like the owners. Parking isnt a problem either.

Stopped after a evening movie.Had soup and hot tea and my date picked from the PICK 2 menu.My soup was hot and tasty and her sandwich and salad was excellent.The staff was friendly and courteous even at 8:30 PM and there still was a large variety of desserts available

I went for lunch yesterday; hadnt been there in a while. Food was average; not at all what I remember. In addition, I used my bank card to pay and they charged me an additional amount (almost $4.00) for what I dont know. Guess my almost 30% tip wasnt enough!

The staff was friendly but the food was lacking in any seasoning. I expect food to be properly salted, cooked and prepared as ordered. Unfortunately one order at our table was prepared incorrectly and my meal was as dull as cardboard. I will not be returning.

We heard from friends what a great place this was.So we went today and tried it out.Prices were okay,Food was Great!! But Service Sucked Big time.We will not return.didt leave a big tip either.

Fried shrimp is HEAVENLY! The food took a while to come out, but it was worth the wait. Not a great place to take young kids, but it has a great ambiance for a date.
