Worst General Tso Chicken in South Hampton Roads! Ive sampled this dish at over a dozen Chinese restaurants across Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, and this was by far the worst. The dish failed on all three of the main rating criteria. The chicken was not crispy fried. It was spongy and soft. The sauce had no pepper in it. It might as well have been sweet and sour squeezed out of a packet. Also, its not General Tso without the broccoli, and there was no broccoli on the plate. I was told (after the fact) that they only put broccoli on the dinner portion. Wrong! Youre supposed to serve a reduced portion for lunch, not a portion thats missing a prime ingredient. I took one bite of China Woks soft slop and gave the dish back to the counter help. The staff couldnt have cared less and offered no refund for my untouched lunch.

Their website says they deliver within a 2 mile radius of the store. My house is barely 1.5 miles away from them. Yet, they wont deliver. That by itself would be no problem. It is their loss. However, they are also very rude. Order at your own risk. Even if they delivered, I still would avoid this establishment on principle. No one should have to put up with their attitude, regardless of cultural or language barriers.

I dont go there often because I live far away but when I go to the mall across thats when I visit the restaurant. Every time i go there, the food was decent. I appreciate People who work in the service field, People who complained that they hung up on them on busy hours was probably the people who ask a bunch of questions but never ready to place an order, why be so inconsiderate.

I went all the way through the on-line ordering process only to find I live marginally outside their delivery zone. So, we called them and described the situation and I was about to say wed pickup.. but before I could get that out, they said "we dont deliver there..." and hung up. Figure the odds of me ordering from them again.. or visiting their location.

Terrible customers service. The lady that answers the phone is nasty acting. Last time i ordered my food from them there was not one hair not 2 hairs but 3 hairs in my food. I called to express my concert and the lady started fussing at me n hung up. Dont trust the reviews belong. This place is terrible n you would be wasting you money.

Lady is super angry when answering the phone and if you ask a question she turns into angry dragon lady and snaps at you will never order agin and I should go their use their bathroom and upper decker their toilet that when you take fat dump in the top of their toilet. Dont order here because their bathroom is gross.

This is one of the best chinese spots in Norfolk. This is the only Chinese place I order my takeout at. The best there is shrimp broccoli or chicken broccoli with rice in garlic sauce is good. The shrimp egg foo young is great as well. Whoever said their food is not good is crazy!

well i called myself trying to order some food for delivery, which they have delivered to my address many times before, and i am told by a whole other employee than i was speaking to that they dont deliver to my area. and then hung up on me. they are truly rude and unprofessional.
