I love coming to Cafe Caturra. They have a new menu and it is to die for. Yea, they limited the sandwich and panini selections you can get at dinner versus lunch, but it really steers you in the right direction towards some great entrees. Me and my friend got the Drunken Mussels to start, so tasty with yummy, crunchy garlic bread. Then we got the seared salmon with blood orange risotto as well as the caturra burger, topped with pimento cheese, bacon and caramelized onions. It was a ton of food and with our wine, the bill was very reasonable. Our server was very accommodating and even sent over the manager to help us find a perfect wine (since it was Wednesday and half priced bottle of wine night). Im excited to come back for lunch to see what sandwiches and paninis Im missing out on!

its often busy here since the food and drinks are good, atmosphere is solid, decor is tasteful, and there is some outdoor seating. Parking lot is tight (like most around greater Richmond and Midlothian especially), but once inside most everything else is done well. I mostly was inspired to review because on March 15th, our server -Katie C- went above and beyond to make sure my fiance had a nice birthday lunch. I was curious if they did anything for birthdays, sort of joking, eventhough Katie responded that they didnt... she still gave my girl a cookie. Which was a real nice gesture considering they were pretty busy. So, thank you, Cafe Caturra especially Katie!

The salad with cranberries, feta and walnuts used to be excellent. Not anymore. I ordered it yesterday with chicken. 2 tiny pieces of chicken, 4 cranberries, no walnuts and 3 small pieces of feta cheese. The raspberry dressing that used to be fantastic was non existant. Service was great but the quality of the food has really dropped. Also used to come with a slice of toasted bread. That was missing too. Apparently the Midlothian location is no longer what it used to be. Wont go again.

This place reminds me of an upscale Panera Bread, only because it is a chain. Despite its status as a chain, the food is excellent! I ordered a gain bowl and added the salmon, which was cooked perfectly! I couldnt believe the perfect crust and crispy skin that was on a piece of fish served at a chain restaurant! Worth a stop for lunch or breakfast alone, with the fam, or as a meeting spot for your friends or social crew.

This is the third time that I have come to Cafe Caturra with the intention of using their WI-FI while eating a meal. This is the third time I have left in frustration because I could not access their WI-FI didnt work and their employees didnt seem concerned. This place has a lot of potential, but next time I will not waste my time and money and just go straight to Starbucks.

This is a great little lunch spot. It is charming. They display artwork of local artists all over the walls. It has a cosy feel to it. The food was very nice. There are plenty of healthy options so you can then spurge on the freshly made deserts. You order and pay at the counter but they bring your food to you. I would definitly go there again.

All style but no substance. The food was riddled with black pepper that masked all taste of the underlying ingredients. This was on the two dishes we ordered. The breakfast was not cooked terribly well. Maybe it was an off day, since we witnessed a sacking by the manager. Overall..should have been so much better

I picked up a large order to go for a work meeting and realized when I got back to the office, I did not have one item. I called Cafe Caturra and spoke to the manager, and he quickly dropped it off at my building. Customer service at its finest! Thank you so much!

The atmosphere is phenomenal. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. Great wine list to choose from and I have loved everything each time I visit. If you are debating a good place to have lunch with the girls this is the one! Enjoy.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, until they took the grilled chicken and gorgonzola panini off of the menu. The Tuscan Panini, which is supposed to be the replacement, doesnt hold a candle to the chicken and gorgonzola panini. :-(

The food was very good and the atmosphere and staff were excellent. Bathrooms were clean. However, I wasnt able to connect to the internet on either my phone or laptop using their Wi-Fi network although I used the password they supplied.

First time here and pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere, very cozy and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Ordered the Roasted Chicken with Sweet Potato Risotto, and it was delicious. Coming back for sure to try other dishes.

Salad was wilted and chicken was very rubbery and flavorless. Food was sub par for the price. New ownership has certainly impacted the quality of ingredients. We would have recommended 2yrs ago. We will not be back anytime soon.

I love this place. The food and wine are fabulous and the prices are reasonable. The staff is extremely attentive to their customers. It is a great place to meet my girlfriends for lunch or a casual date with my husband.

Cafe Caturra is a really neat place! They serve excellent wine and coffee! They have a really comfortable place to hang out with friends and outdoor seating too! We stop here frequently when going into the city!

I have had multiple bad experiences here. they have poor service and long wait times. their saving grace is that their food tends to be high quality but with the service being so bad I may not be returning.

Indoor and outdoor seating, great for studying and catching up with friends. Breakfast, baked goods and sandwiches are all delicious. Looks like they have a mimosa filled brunch going now too.

Thursday night live music. Nice idea, but it would have been better if the volume was a bit lower. Not where I would normally go to hear live music. More of a quiet setting for conversation.

We tried their [your two] menu, and had various panini with soup. Basil tomato soup is great. Slow roast pork panini was our favorite. So glad we have Cafe Caturra in our neighborhood.

Amazing atmosphere inside by the fire in the winter or on the patio in the summer or by the outdoor fireplace on cool evenings. We go all the time and are consistently pleased.

NOT HAPPY! My husband ordered the salmon it was raw! So he decided to go with a cup of soup, it had a very long hair in it!

Kind of disappointed they did away with their dessert trio, but love the food and atmosphere here. I would recommend it!
